In a lot of ways I find Kirti's behavior so realistic. Woh alag hai, main usse samajh sakti hoon, woh dil ka bura nahi hai, woh suddhar jaayega.

correct...that is why i said something worse than Stockholm Syndrome.

@bold: Absolutely...oh the ever telling lies of did he hurt you, the guy must be into you... no nope he just abusing and manipulating you.

The way he comes back , makes her comfortable and slightly caresses her hair but goes out quickly because of guilt.

Nice scene

I think I started to fall for Raghav's character from that episode onwards. It was such a beautiful episode. The guilt and angst was portrayed very beautifully.

*********************************************

The last 2 episodes showcase the growth in the characters of Raghav and Pallavi

The Wednesday episode where Pallavi attends to her husband who complains of the stiff back - you can see the character growth of Raghav. The Raghav from the first episode was a lone wolf - he gets hurt and is bleeding but he refuses help from Rama the house help. But here is the same Raghav moaning and complaining of a stiff back in front of Pallavi. It is not because he can't handle the pain - it is because he finally got the one person who can attend to him and shower her love on him without any reservations and lo and behold we have Pallavi giving him salt + hot water therapy to soothe his cramped up muscles. The wistful smile of Raghav and the lyrics - Kaise tum mil gaye totally showcase his state of mind. Like he can't believe he got so lucky that this girl not only completed his family but is now his shield protecting him from all harm.

And in today's episode you see the character growth in Pallavi. The Pallavi in the first episode was a broken women devoid of all dreams. Like she says - mere zindagi main laal rang na kabhi tha aur na uski koi zaroorat hain. She was an empty shell and now Raghav has come in as a roaring thunder filling her completely. She got the closure of the past that was hurting her so much and now she can close that chapter once and for all and move on in life with Raghav. I absolutely loved the last bedroom scene where in Pallavi takes Raghav's hand and promises to close the past and not have it bearing on their present and future. Raghav's smile was so precious and the calm on Pallavi's face - too precious.

When you read any good novel or see a good show there comes a point when you feel - Chalo jo bhi hoga ab I know these characters can deal with it. I felt that yesterday - like they have come to the most important point in their journey and now they will always be together no matter what.

********************************************

Would Pallavi had a good relationship with Mandar - No doubt on that. She is one who can adjust in any surroundings. But it was not in her destiny. She was meant to be Raghav's since the first episode when Raghav throws Sindoor on her. Raghav might never have thought of marriage if not for high handedness of Jaya. Raghav was scarred and Pallavi had her own emotional baggage. Both came into this marriage and found their happiness.

Raghav gave Pallu the wings to fly high and Pallu gave Raghav the aasman to lay down his burdens. They healed each other and that is the only reason I feel Raghav and Pallavi are meant to be with each other. It is like they are 2 pieces of the same heart - finding themselves complete only with the other and no other person can make them feel complete.

@bold- I agree with your entire post, but this is such a beautiful line!!!

And I remember being so pissed at my friends who gushed about that movie, like guys we are medicos , we literally should be sitting out there with posters in our hands and protesting 🤣

I haven’t watched it , trailed was such a turn off 🤣 but I like songs 😆

Yaar I have zero interest in watching an insecure Pallavi. High time Raghav make her explicitly secure in the relationship.

I was just about to log off, but Kabir Singh made me comment before turning in for the night. The movie was disgusting but nothing beats the director's justifications. If anyone tells me they like the movie, I ask whether they agree with these points (exact quotes):

‘If you can’t slap, touch your woman wherever you want, I don’t see emotion’

'When you are deeply in love and deeply connected to a woman (and vice versa), if you don’t have the liberty of slapping each other, then I don’t see anything there.'

People who didn't like the film are 'parasites who are the real threat to the film industry’ and 'Probably they never experienced (love) in the right way. They were only on the feminist side, they didn’t speak about anything else.'

That movie was a trashfire beginning to end, from it's depiction of medschool to how it romanticized abuse in relationships.

That’s sick.

Thank you Ashi, I am going to bring up these points in case I have another argument with someone. Literally can’t stand people liking that movie. I had girl classmates wanting a kabir singh in their lives 😵😵
