Maybe if she approched her like a friend showing understanding towards her situation after all it was a stormy weather. Kirti didn’t premeditated a murder here. Culpable homiside is different from murder. Kirti was wrong to hit n run. But Ragav needs to tell Pallavi that Mandar wasn’t left on the roadside to die. He took him to hospital. I get frustrated as Pallavi is not trying to find out wat Mandar was doing there. Speaking of premeditated BWA actions were. N she got off Scott free. Cos she is family.
Finally. Well the reason I was searching for you was because somehow I think I would have felt the same way like you. Honestly I have the same thoughts about D'House and Pallavi's decisions that she did not file a case against BWA when Keerthi's scandal took place. But then I pondered over it a little and realised that it was actually Keerthi and Rao's call to file a complaint while Raghav chose to handle the matter internally. I agree an apology was required but she too suffered for it and it was BWA who should have apologised just like Raghav apologised to Pallavi for his deeds and just like we all wanted Rambo to apologise to Farhaad for the slap. But then again during the necklace case she finally agreed for a police case but Raghav and she decided to handle it their way.
Coming to Mandaar's case, like everyone already said what Keerthi has been trying to do I won't repeat them. But letting someone else suffer for your mistakes doesn't go down well with me. It didn't go well with me during Keerthi's scandal, neither during the abortion track, nor Pallavi's defamation neither now that she is ready to use Farhaad as a scape goat. But going for a police case here is completely Pallavi and Deshmukhs call just like in the photo scandal it was Keerthi and Rao's call. It is their decision that they want a proper punishment.
Moreover Pallavi did try to understand and did give her a chance to accept. But what she did was insult Pallavi and repeatedly lied when Raghav questioned her too. And to top it all she was ready to ser Farhaad being punished for her crimes. Why?
If you do not have the guts to accept the punishment for your mistakes and bear the consequences of your decisions why commit them in the first place?
Please do not think I am disagreeing with you dear or trying to say you are wrong. It is just that in both the situations be it Keerthi's photo scandal or Mandaar's accident case, the decision of how to deal with the criminal lied solely in the hands of the victim and their families. It is a matter of what decision was taken. Be it whatever the reason, that freedom lies with the victim and right now Pallavi is the victim here who not only lost her husband that night but also had to bear the taunts of the society and live a hard life for 2 long years. Just like Keerthi was a victim during the scandal.
