Maybe if star knows MHRW is so popular online as well, they will not risk ending it as they know alot of people watch it online, and if they do decide to remove it from TV, they would still let it on OTT.
But yaha no chance for that either, because tv pe dekhne ke chakkar mein, we tend to discourage people from watching it on hotstar.
I don't have the time to watch it on tv and me watching it on tv does not really contribute to trps so I watch on Hotstar as much I can.
Hotstar does not share it's views to third party twitter handles like Gossip TV.
There are many illegal sites that upload episodes after telecast and it's ad free. Why will a subscriber pay 200 bucks for a month or lumpsum if everything is available free on a platter.
Hotstar is in partnership with Disney, policies are separate from Star. It's revenue depends on subscribers and ads. They don't even bother about infringement or privacy. Every show of SP is on illegal space these days.
The decision makers put immense pressure on production house when trps are not upto the mark. Irrespective of all the hurdles a producer has to face while making a show for SP.
Sony depends on online views but KRPKAB3 viewership is still a secret.
As far as trps are concerned, Gul khan had very categorically stated in 2018 that for a show to survive it needs 1.6 trp
