Yes , and some of it is an influence from South Indian movie/ show styles, since this is telugu show remake. Most telugu movies , guy shows liking for the girl but waits until girl hugs and touches to hug back . Its a space and respect thing , if anyone is familiar with telugu movies. There is no unnecessary yanking around of the lady. I feel that influence here on the show.

In most of South Indian shows, a hug is the most intimate thing between leads. They still avoid every other intimate scenes. And in movies also, there isn't any unnecessary touch or anything like Bollywood.

Anyway MHRW is going different than typical itv shows. There isnt any manhandling from Raghav's side except for the scene he hold her hands during Lion track, he apologised for it and even applied ointment. I like the way they respect each others privacy. Lets hope they will continue this pattern till the end.

Pallavi being tall would have been a disadvantage while shooting it---but this was executed so beautifully

this show also shows there is no male dominance over female dominance---despite the fact most of us love Raghav more than Pallavi--both the characters have respect for each other until the other one crosses the line

Shivangi is tall so bending till knees to lift her was a requirement holding the Pallu was a responsibility

I noticed this too... I love it when an actor takes care of their co-actor (especially if they're female). Courtesy is always in the smallest things 😳❤️

It was also one of the cleanest lifts I've seen on ITV where her clothing didn't go out of place or need to be adjusted mid-shot.

They are professionals and will act the way the script/director demands. The shower scene will debunk all this and let's see how that plays out because they are stuck to each other in that one. 😆

Also, Raghav still doesn't unnecessarily touch Pallavi even though they are married. Rather I see her doing it more. Very refreshing and a good message for men, to respect women's boundaries.

Yeah, the swimming pool scene was great. The water wasn't deep so Sai couldn't use its buoyancy to lift Shivangi and then had to walk up the steps while looking at her and not slip or drop her. Huge amount of planning and effort is needed. Props to the crew not just the actors for making this happen, despite all the challenges in filming during COVID.

@bold: This is honestly all I thought about while watching that scene. His eyes were constantly on her, he walking on a wet space, carrying a wet saree-clad woman, and he couldn't even look down to watch where he was going. Yet how gracefully he carried it out! 👏
