Technical Aspects Discussion

What r the highlights and downs from pure technical standpoints in MHRW.

For me,

Pros :

1 - Acting

Quirkiness always on point. Can't think of any scene where timing didn't landed or effect didn't felt if scene has funny or witty aspects to it (only RaghVi scenes, for rest there r few misses).

2 - Camera work

Only talking about shots here. It have always been one of the highlights and quite imaginative shots r tried with good effect. Charminar scene from first episode and panned shots of RR mansion r some of the really good work.

3 - Set design

Not best but quite good. With even limited resources in lockdown and hotel room, The use of location is really done to fullest.

Cons:

1 - Editing

Hate editing. It is bringing overall camerawork down which is doing so good by itself. This has been an issue from start.

2 - Dialogues

Hit nd miss. Mostly miss in impactful scene. Dialogue flow is bad.

Exemption :

Story Plot - As because of Covid many changes r to be done in both location nd story so won't judge on that.

Hmmm....good points and I agree with all of them---what actually attracted me to the show the chemistry between the leads of the show---in other shows the chemistry gets developed slowly--or effects are created around the set so that chemistry between the lead looks good and natural but when I first watched RaghVi first--it was a vm (which had the scenes eyelock in RR mansion and cornering her to the pole) and their chemistry was like so natural and attractive--major reason I am still watching the show

I somewhere feel like the characters lag in emotional scenes and even editing of those scenes are not up to the mark

and there are some bloopers--which can be ignored for the time being considering the current situations the shoot is taking place

I think the casting deserves applause.

Every character has been perfectly cast, the actors are skilled and embody their roles really well. They all look great and play really well off of each other, and I can't think of a single role that seems poorly cast, or a misfit.

Perfect points and I agree with all....but I like Milind Kaka's comic timings too😆

We kept on saying for ages editor need to improve

Agreed. The point u made about emotional scenes is what I think is missing and making it to be @1.1 and not 1.5 or more(TRP wise). Slot is a factor but still I think if those improve, show has the potential of being a trendsetter.

Absolutely true. Missed that in Pros. Initial casting and set design was the most apt. The covid play ruines but still casting team should be applauded.

Like that actor. Even in scenes where he needs to be serious. Comic scenes... he is anyways good. A really good actor.

Editing really is getting on my nerves few times. Its bringing impact of important scenes down.

We all saying same thing from start more importantly for editors they needed lots of improvement..

Leads chemistry is what kept the interesting from start
