Not just that, but that she took time out to do something with him/for him, even if it's a prank. A wife cooking for her husband, this is the first time he's eaten her cooking. Normally, new husbands appreciate their wife's cooking no matter how it tastes, out of respect for her effort and feelings. They only difference here is that instead of the food being too salty or not salty enough, it's just too spicy. He did literally mean it when he said he was responsible for her happiness, so seeing her smile and be cheerful made him indulge her in her little prank.

Why do you think Sai loves this role so much? You don't get such great writing ever, not even in movies or other shows, and especially not for ITV MLs.

He's such a great sport too for trying out all sorts of scenes and emotions. I love that no two episodes or scenes are repetitive on this show, seriously.
