Yup, I suspected something like that may be at play. I'm Punjabi, but even in my family, women don't wear black or white at all in the first year of marriage. For women who need that in their attire for reasons (such as those being essential colors in professional wardrobes), we do a small ritual to ward off the negative energy.

I'm just wishing for it because I think Shivangi would look beautiful 😅
