Thanks Rojakka and jagdu for the updates.
I agree with rojakkaa that once conceived, it is not right to go for an abortion. andha chinna uyir enna paavam senjudhu? Shakthi should have done proper planning before she conceived.

Thanks Roja and Jagau for the updates. 👏 👏

Diwa shd divorce Shakti if she goes for an abortion. That bloody "B" never uses her head. Its their first child and how could she ever think of doing this daylight murder..!! 😡

Now she wants to think of her family then why didn't this "odookali" (as Attai puts it)think of them before deciding to elope with Diwa?? If she had any intention of working then she shd have taken the necessary precautions to avoid pregnancy. 😲 Enna husband koodai paddukumpothu pregnant avalaam-nu theriyatha???😡 😡

I think this news of her wanting to abort the baby would reach her family and as usual Megala would come marching by to drill some sense into her nutty brains..!! 😆

I think she won't end up aborting the child and when she delivers and sees the baby's face she is going to regret it so much for wanting to destroy it. She would also be an over protective mum too..! 😆

Thanks for the offer Jagdu - can you commit for a
particular week/weeks of a month??? I can post
the update schedule in this thread and all up-daters
can follow - with regard to the "short and sweet" - well,
the short part is in your hands and the sweet part has to
come from those who read them

Much as I appreciate your concern and respect your
sentiments, I need to point out here that all these
actors/actresses do such things for earning their livelihood -
for them it is a job and they just relay the words written
by a writer, who again does that for his/her living. If u were
to ask any one of them on a personal front, none of them
might endorse with what they do on screen. Again, it is
pathetic that for the sake of money, one can throw away
principles in the dust bin - for me that is unacceptable - but
I guess it is a rat race out there and if one puts their foot
down on such issues, another one is all set in the queue to
take over!!! I for one have my own convictions and am not
ready to compromise on my priorities. At the same time, I
do not expect others to follow suit or change their priorities
to please me or some one else. Each to their own. Neither do
I judge those who have different opinions. All these serials
just have characters and yes, we can comment on that.
We need to draw a line there and learn to throw it out of
our minds/system . All those performers, do their job,
collect the money and go away - they do not care about
the viewers and so why should we expect them to conform
to any of our ideas/concepts??? Brewing on things over
which we have no control is unhealthy for our minds -
we are all emancipated people and am sure have
the knowledge to differentiate between "reel"
and "real"!!!!

I normally do not make the effort to answer/express my
opinions for such comments. Because, I do know that many
have been at this stage - some time or the other - and have
gotten out of this sooner or later. I consider all in the IF
Tamil Forum as my friends and am interested in making
them feel comfortable with the dogma that "This too shall
pass"- So, do not worry, u will either learn to stash away
the trash fed by these serials or learn to stay away
from watching these!!! Believe me, experience speaks!! 😃😃

Just like the actors/actresses who perform their task acting out what is instructed to them and forget about it after they are thru with it, we too as viewers give our views/opinions and forget about it too conveniently once we log out of here. 😉

Its for the sake of the Forum to be continuously active that sometimes we tend to get carried away, however, there is no personal vendetta here coz whatever said is obviously done without being malice...😛

RP,
Sue said it better than any one. Specially that last line.
And that's what I meant in saying short and sweet when sending future updates. There will be no judgments.

Meghala is a lovely serial. By no means is it violent like some of the prime time serials. In many of the characters we see some of ourselves and relate to them. Lots of people watching this one serial want to know what happened to the characters and they are a part of their everyday lives, unlike the movies which you see in one 3 hour gasp and it does'nt come back to haunt you the next day.
That's just like the story of being home with a few things that go out of hand. The situations are comical even in some episodes where the villains take center stage. Are'nt they delightful? The evil mother-in-law, the feeling of persecution by the daughter's in law, the trials and tribulations of the loan business, and most importantly the image of chennai/the tamils on the show, something that we all pine for. It all seems so natural making it eligible for viewers of all age groups.

Early update 12/17/07:
The ire of Kanmani sends shivers down the Dhanda's spine for a bit. Even Dhanda seems to be talking to Kanmani as though she came out of another planet and is reaaly respectful. Her mother-in-law holds court and every one listens to what she has to say.
Diwa thrashes it out with the irreproachable Shakti, and let's her know his mind. Poor Shakti ends up sitting on the stairs and muttering to herself, "I'm not even able to help the woman who conceived me."
Our hero jumps on the motorbike and goes to Pushpa's house and reasons with his mom and dad. He tells his dad that normally you are so calm, what happened to you. The ever likable man says I'm not able to tolerate it when my daughter-in-law is shouting all the time. Pushpa and her husband try to advise Diwakar. The husband says you'r not in control. Dear Pushpa's husband, practice what you preach. And of course, Pushpa is all venom.
