Part 1
Sunaina is pacing up and down her room totally tensed. She remembers her cursing words she said to MH. That she will have to suffer distance from her husband. Now that it is happening in real, Sunaina can't do anything but feel guilty. She did utter those words going blind in extreme anger but did not want that to turn to reality.
She remembered how she was in the same place few months back, where she was thrown out of the house, and treated the way MH is being treated right now. And she knows it feels really pathetic to be treated this way. However, Sunaina realised that in her case, her husband was not against her, she had some other supporters there. The strongest supports for her were the Meets. And she started to hate herself for wishing such ill fate on the marital life of these two, the very same two people who also brought back her lost husband after her wait of years. These two were the same people who helped her when Masoom plotted against her through the legal notice and now it hurted her to see these two persons' breaking bond.
Sunaina recalled how it was only MH who supported against the medical test. She remembered how it was not MH but MA who brought Ram-Lakhan to Tej. And she was quick enough to blame MH, she did the same mistake like everyone else. How could she fall to such a level? She was never like this? She realised that last few months she has lost herself, lost her conscience and she could not recognise herself anymore. Otherwise why would she treat two kids this way? Not wishing to adopt is different but she is ashamed of her behaviour towards the two little kids.
And all these under whose influence? Her SIL Masoom? She felt herself too much dumb for getting brainwashed so easily by a lady whom she knew is so evil. Wasn't Masoom the one who repeatedly abused her in absence of Tej? And even when her husband returned after so much suffering, she played such dirty games on her sick husband. People would not do this to strangers what that lady did to her own brother or her own son Duggu. And Sunaina felt terribly ashamed that she was slowly turning to a viscious lady like Masoom.
Her mind went back to the time when MH was thrown out of the house. Isn't this selfless lady facing the same what she faced few months back? However, the difference was that Sunaina gave up too easily and beared everything while MH fought back that day. There was one more difference which she embarrassingly admited was that with Sunaina, MH was standing beside her like a support but with MH now, she herself was against her making it more difficult for that girl who was all alone instead of helping her. And yes , Sunaina realised that for MH, there were even more challenges, fighting for both her fathers at the same time. Forget about any support or helping hand, this girl has so many people to act as hurdles in her already difficult challenges
Sunaina recalled how MH told her to keep her self respect above everything else. But now looking at MH, she realised that this girl is too broken right now to have lost the fighting spirit that she always had. May be the life's challenges has dimmed the fire that MH always carried with her. Sunaina realises that now it is her turn to remind MH the lessons she herself taught her, and stand by that suffering girl just like she did when she herself was suffering. And this time Sunaina is determined that her sasural needs a big joint lesson by the bahus.
