Aruna is the only contestant this year to get a blue tick for her Instagram account?

Is this a sign she’s the winner? Or can you buy a blue tick on instagram like you can now on twitter?

Her account is verified now it wasn’t till yesterday when I was checking. After Nayan she has the highest numbers of followers of MCI contestants this year.

She must have got it verified. Even Avinash has a verified account. So I hope it has nothing to do with the results.

It's about recognisibility, and you have to apply for a bluetick even on ig and facebook. It's just that she's pompous enough to apply for it amongst everyone else.

Didn’t knew you have to apply to verified your account. I knew you have to pass certain things like I guess content, views, age and followers stuff and I thought at some point if you have all this instragram will automatically verified your account.

Nah, they have to spply and prove that they are the real person. Scammers can impersonate big celebs to con people for example. They had a huge issue with a Rahul Dravid fanpage having a blue tick on twitter a few years ago. So, they are extra careful with the vetting afaik

Mostly, it's the management or PR that must be dealing with these applicatipns ig.

She has garnered enough eyeballs to kick start a public career. She might open a restaurant or something and get people to work for her. Or even a political career 😉
