I feel Nayanjyoti was only team leader for namesake. Actual leader was Priyanka lol. 😆Kahe ka leader?

In past seasons I used to wonder if Vikas would ever get a bit aggressive or up front but then I saw his Kitchen Nightmares episode, he has always been like this 😆

Garima is such a breath of fresh air. She doesn't seem to care about the "drama create karo" thing. Her real and no bs attitude is a total USP.

Coming to the menus - I would’ve thought the Asian team would have had it easiest, but they were clearly struggling. They tried to bite more than they could chew. I think the fried chicken and wedges were perfect for their menu, but the corn ribs were not bad but not a substantial dish. I wish they’d have added something more filling for the vegetarians. That’s the only problem with their menu.
They could’ve maybe added a Mac n’ cheese or something. I thought their menu was the easiest from the cooking point of view, it’s a pity their chicken was kacha. Also, this team seemed to work well together.

Mexican - Again their menu was very time consuming to make - making the dough and frying the nachos, making the dough then rolling out and cooking the burrito, frying each churro. I wish they’d have thought of something that didn’t need so much work. They could’ve chosen a Mexican stew, chilli en nogada, Mexican rice, Mexican corn. For dessert they could’ve made dulce de leche ice cream or cake with dulce de leche. Another thing like the judges pointed out the topping for their nachos was the same as stuffing for their burritos (minus the protein). I’m guessing they’ll use the same stuff for their rice as well. Kind of repetitive.

As a customer, I’d be very keen on trying the bao’s followed by the corn ribs and the cake with lemon cream frosting.

I think all of us find Gurkirat’s antics cute is because of the way he says things, but he was mean yesterday, even if it was only to give Priyanka a taste of her own medicine and he did complain about Deepa’s speed. It’s ok to do so sometimes, nothing wrong at all.

I think the Asian team will earn the least - they start service much later than the others and also, they’ll have trouble with their baos (takes time to cook).

Blue team- the free hugs was stupid marketing idea, IMO. It was nice they started serving right away though. Though I feel they won't last as safe team also.

Green team-Chicken is undercooked. Good thing they kept the veg & nonveg frying option separate, especially by Priya. Sachin's sindhi comment is now getting annoying to be frank. Mac & cheese is huge here. Raw chicken, oh goodness. Maybe red beans and rice because it's common here. Even something shrimp related would've sufficed.

If he can experiment with savory like he did in last couple of the weeks, his pomegranate glazed chicken was the best till date, then he can lead a team too. But sadly today, he failed as the decided captain.

Swarna and Priyanka both annoy me wayyyy too much but my mother was yelling shut up everytime Priyanka started talking

We were feeling for Nayan, kahan bechara phas gaya. He definitely has the potential. If he gets proper training he will for sure do very well. Whenever I see him I remember VK's quiet persona and love for food.

I want to make that pomegranate glazed chicken man, it looked so damn good.

@bold: One of the chefs should really motivate him to begin speaking up. Swarna and Priyanka are too headstrong and I never see them as team players. Nayan, given the right push, can really do wonders. He is my favourite out of the lot. I hope we see some definite improvements in him because I really feel he can win it.

Agree with you they should have given desert person in their team too and funny is even though Nayanjyoti and Priyanaka are desert people and they didn't had desert in their menu.

I know it was so stupid. Nayan ka I still understand. He has said in several IVs of his that he wants to move away from just doing desserts. But Priyanka ne ek task pehle hi baking baking, steam steam steam kiya tha. Steamed cake nahi bana sakti thi?

@ Bold: The Asian team has Priyanka. What do you expect? Any challenge - she makes it about showing her amazing skills rather than focusing on the basics. There are tasks that require innovation and unique elements. And then there are tasks that require quantity and speed. But she only sees one thing - innovation and unique elements. They were so focused on that they didn't realize they didn't have dessert or that they were overpriced.

@ Red: Agreed on the vegetarian bit. I kept wondering what was vegetarian on their menu. As a vegetarian, I already wouldn't go to that team's food truck because they wouldn't have anything great for me to eat.

@ Blue: I don't think the eggs thing was mean though. He also used them. He didn't just keep them at his station. If he had then I would have agreed. And complaining I'm okay with it. It's when people do it repeatedly that it starts getting on my nerves. Like both Priyanka and Suvarna. Nothing is ever their fault. It's always someone's fault.
