Should safe contestants be allowed to shout out from upstairs?

Hi friends,

No, they should not be. It's SOOO irritating. Like when the cocky b**ch Pratibha wrongly guided Meenu Ji while she was making her khandvi. She was almost going to lose because of that. Morever, the contestants in Aakhri Daav could get an upper edge because of the safe people guiding them.

yeah its very much distracting.. They dnt knw d consistency of dishes from upstairs and hw can they guide d contestants.. moreover d person cookin wil hav some strategy in mind which others dunno.. they can stand and give their opinion on camera but not to d contestants.

Exactly. The rest don't know your strategy in your head and sometimes you can lose your thoughts due to other contestants shouting..

What irritates me more is that every time Bhakti is in elimination, she never does anything on her own. Neha is the one who guides her and tells her how to grind, what consistency, what to add and what not to add. So if Bhakti is safe right now, 80% of the credit goes to Neha for shouting from upstairs.

I have not watched MCI before this season, but I watch MC America and MC Junior America. I was surprised to hear the people upstairs shouting and "helping" the people downstairs. That would never be allowed on MC America because it's a distraction to the other contestants and a form for cheating. It's like all of students who are exempt from the final yelling answers out to the students who have to take the final. It's cheating, and as it has been pointed out above, sometimes the people upstairs do not give accurate help.

I just feel they shouldn't be allowed to because of:

a) Distracts all other contestants when they are already short on time

b) it is hard to judge the situation from upstairs (The time when Pratibha misguided Minu aunty with the Khaandvi)

c) It can really become irritating for the contestants

I feel that it should only be allowed if the contestant desperately needs help ..otherwise it can get really irritating

Yep, never shouted from upstairs when the contestants are cooking. Plus, their tasks are much better than the ones here.

Yes I have never seen this in any other masterchef
