I disagree that Bhakti's husband's having diabetes and her personal decision to leave her job/career for it is a sad story. As compared to other diseases, diabetes, especially adult onset as this appears to be, is fairly common place, especially in India; it is not a good disease, but it is not as serious as so many other diseases out there. This is a forced sad story, and I don't think it required her to give up everything just because her husband is diabetic.

Sorry if this opinion offends anyone. I am a doctor, and I also have so many members in my immediate (e.g. my mother) and extended family who are/were diabetic - it is not a major, life-halting tragedy. People with diabetes live fairly normal and active lives. Yes, they need to be careful about their diet and take various precautions, exercise, etc. But, their lives otherwise are normal, and neither their lives nor that of their families come to a complete stop/detour because of this one diagnosis. Compared to so many serious tragedies, diseases, and problems out there in the world, I feel disgusted that this particular condition is being milked dry for sympathy by Bhakti and the show. She may be a good cook, and they should highlight that. If she wants to create a line of food for diabetics or write a cookbook, that is all fine and good and should be mentioned. But, to speak repeatedly about her personal choice (incomprehensible to me why she needed to do that for something like diabetes) and her husband's diabetic condition as some sort of major tragedy is just ridiculous.

Again, apologies if my opinion has offended anyone. It's just my opinion.

very well said..that is my point also...bhakti's sad story is forced one...

i dnt think a person behavior has nything to do wt his or her cooking skills... nikita is good but so is bhakti n i like her confidence...im nt offended wt her sad story bcoz tats how channel is projectng... thy hav found a nice marketing element in her normal story... she is as well consistent in her coking...i dnt remember a dish wen she was the weakest one. i think she deserve it

vijay is needy n a good human being but he has limitatn wt his cooking bcoz of lack of exposure to international cuisine n cooking

'Masterchef India 4': Finalists Neha Shah and Bhakti Arora Turn Foes on Cookery Show?

"Masterchef India 4" finalists Neha Shah and Bhakti Arora are inseparable, at least on screen, but off screen they relationship has turned sour.

Neha and Bhakti, who are strongest contenders, are apparently roommate and on-screen they have always maintained that they are really good friends. However, same is not the case off screen.

According to reports, the two friends have turned foes on the sets of "Masterchef India 4". A source from the sets said that their insecurity is affecting everyone on the sets.

"The insecurity is reflecting in many ways. They have suddenly started complaining that the judges are biased towards the other, cribbing that the other gets better clothes and both suspect that the rest of the contestants support the other one more. This attitude has started affecting everyone on the show," a source told Deccan Chronicle.

Meanwhile, the two contestants along with Nikita Gandhi have entered the grand finale round.

The top three contestants will compete with each other to win the title of "MasterChef".

"The three have been consistent performers and won their slots to the finale with their culinary skills and capability to work in pressure situation," a source told the daily.

The winner of the fourth season of the "Masterchef India" will be announced on 12 April. The finale is going to be a starry affair as several Bollywood biggies are expected to attend the event.

"Tanu Weds Manu Returns" stars Kangana Ranaut and R Madhavan besides Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar are expected to attend the grand finale.

The season four of popular cooking reality show has been judged by chefs Vikas Khanna, Sanjeev Kapoor and Ranveer Brar.

^ Okay that's it. If these 2 have such a negative attitude then why should they be crowned winner? Are the CVs and judges trying to say that a negative person should win?!!
