But that is the problem with this show as far as I can make out. Judging seems to be based on just that day's cooking. If a whole week's performance was taken into consideration, some decisions would have been different

Both Happy and Ripu got mixed comments - Happy had better comments than Ripu..

They wan to keep the eye candy Ripu for as long as possible.
If Happy got better comments, he should've been saved.

I felt Ripu should have been out based purely on today's show. The key task was 'show all your effort' and Happy did that more than Ripu. He actually made more dishes than anyone else (around 6-7) in small quantities. No one said anything bad about the taste of his dish. Kadi and grilled chicken seems lame in comparison and even in inventiveness.

Though I like Ripu and want him to stay.. I agree to you just based on today's episode.. Chicken and Kadi doesn't seem to be an exciting combination and even the tastes did not come out too well.. The comments on Ripu's dish were harsher too !

On the other hand, the entire team stood for elimination today due to poor captaincy of Happy in the last task.. he had hardly done anything there! So that way - there is some justice to this as well!

But - today's episode wise, Ripu's dish did look weakest!

^Exactly NC!! Taking previous weeks or overall performance this week, the elimination is completely justified. And that is why I wish we get a summary at least of the discussions that the chefs have in deciding who gets eliminated when the result is not that straightforward
