Chef Vikas Khanna, the most celebrated Chef was the most charming as well. Down-to-earth, he narrated his life story which involved struggling to make ends meet in New York and eventually realizing his dream. "For Indians, food is emotional. When you eat daal, you think of your mother or grandmother and compare it. I remember during Operation Blue Star in Amritsar, we didn't have food to eat and my grandma would make aloo curry daily. After few days, I got tired of eating it. Instead of scolding me that no one has eaten at home, she teased me that the dish wasn't aloo curry but curry wale aloo."

Vikas is absolutely the most celebrated Indian chef in the World. Its hard to believe that with that face and talent is so down to earth and looks like such a nice person. I am a guy, but not homo AND I dont mind saying that I love him and respect him and salute him. His presence makes you feel so good.

I like him more than akshay kumar. No offence akshay fans. I like him on screen. But kitchen he is pressure maker. He dominates . But vikas so sweet, humble. Hope he stays for all sesons

I'm glad they have someone like Vikas Khanna this year. Having a 'chef' gives a 'cooking' show a lot more credibility. I don't think any celebrity who enjoys food can really offer what someone whose life and occupation is food can offer. So far I like Vikas Khanna as he is critical but constructive and nice in his feedback. Plus he has a very genuine smile. Reality shows would be so much better if judges could be pleasant like him in their critique and eliminations.

His smile is his asset, he is so calm and motivating.
He is idol not only who wants to be chef but also who wants to be a nice human being.
I just watch and read almost all his videos and articles and the conclusion is the great great supermodel,idol,chef,everything is one and only "VIKAS KHANNA".
