Vidya - if she realizes Brahma's faking acceptance and if she ever learns he wants Karan killed, she will feel plenty of outrage on Gaurav's behalf. Plus in a roundabout way, it's because of him that her life got so mixed up - although Dev and Gaurav are directly responsible for arranging and agreeing to the marriage, they only did it because Brahma is an intolerant and abusive person...
Uttara - I wish she would just pack up and leave, ahhh I have no patience for her. To an extent I think starting the affair is Brahma's fault and she was a vulnerable victim, but her subsequent behaviour and uncritical acceptance of his lies makes it hard to separate her from responsibility for her actions. If Dev forgives her it will be because Dev takes being an older sister like she takes being a mother -- as if a habit of self-blaming, ignoring your own pain, and offering unlimited unconditional forgiveness are the main requirements for the job. She will probably decide it's all Brahma's fault, of course Uttara did not do wrong or at least she couldn't help it, and it was her own fault for not protecting her better...
Did anyone else thinks the masks were incongruously hilarious? Maybe I am just immature but seriously I couldn't care less about the dramatic tensions in those sequences because I was too busy staring at the masks.
@Vidya: See, it's the roundabout way that Brahma affected her life, that I don't completely agree with her taking action against him. I feel like with that situation, she should blame
only Devyani and Gaurav because they were directly involved. Yes of course, if it hadn't been for SSP, they wouldn't have gone through with it, but still personally, I don't think that's reason enough for her to fight against him.
The anger on Gaurav's behalf I think is completely justified, but once again, not directly impacting her, so I feel like Vidya fighting against SSP would be mainly to show the unity of the four women but not necessarily for any injustice he's done to
her.I hope I made some sense, but I think this situation just comes down to a difference in points of view. 😳
@Uttara: Ugh, don't even get me started on her. In the beginning it may have been Brahma's fault, and I still remember a lot of us were really hesitant to blame her because she had just gotten out of the abusive situation with her husband, and had been through some traumatic experiences herself. However, as time went on, her brain seems to have vanished, her heart, and everything, and that's what annoys me. 1) Affair with a married man. I hate the idea, despise it, but that didn't annoy me as much as the fact that it was 2) Her
Sister's husband.
The affair got me annoyed as hell, the sister's husband part threw me over the edge.
And the Devyani placing the blame partially on herself, I completely agree with that idea.I think it's natural human instinct, to feel guilty when something goes wrong, regardless of whether you were involved in it or not.
@Masks: LMFAO. so true! I think SSP's was the funniest 😆
