Raqesh to sizzle with Kareena
Raqesh Vashisht aka Rakesh Bapat who is presently seen in Star Plus' Maryada -Lekin Kab Tak? has been roped in by Madhur Bhandarkar to play one of Kareena Kapoor's lovers in his ambitious film Heroine.
An Indya source reveals, "He plays a character of a struggling actor who falls in love with Kareena during the shooting of their film. But as soon as the movie becomes hit, he becomes a superstar overnight, leading to heartbreak for Kareena and the end of their relationship. Madhur is keeping his character secret to save it for a big surprise."
Confirming the news, Raqesh Vashishth says, "Yes, I am doing the film. But I can't reveal anything about the character. You will have to wait for when it comes on the big-screen." The shooting of the film hasn't begun yet.
But this isn't Raqesh's first film. He debuted in the industry with 2001 film Tum Bin and was later seen in a few films which did average business. But he failed to surpass the success of Tum Bin. Later, he decided to move on to television and was first seen in Zee TV's Saat Phere in 2005.
