what the hell?

Homosexuality is natural...and "the normality" you are defending is socially constructed...Gay relationships are as pure as heterosexual relationships...

FYI: Scholars argue that Hinduism initially supported homosexuality. You have probably seen ambiguous pictures in the temples. Before, there was three genders...homosexuality was included as the third gender. It's cuz of British colonialization that the category "gay" was given.

Teenagers are confused by gay relationships?? what??? I am a teenager...I am straight and HONEY!! so far I haven't fallen for any of my lesbian friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we live in a sad world when we have to hide our true selves from the ppl who are supposed to love us unconditionally. my friend u have absolutely nothing to be ashamed ab so be yourself and alway remember that god never ever makes mistakes and u are the way u are for a reason. stop hiding coz for how long will u lead a double life an incomplete life. for u to be who u are u going to have to go through a lot coz ppl minds are so polluted with their own sense of righteousness, their narrow mindedness that they refuse to take into account human emotions that we don't choice who we love but that they are chosen by god for us. love is one of the purest gifts from god it is a blessing if u ever fall in love i hope that u are strong enough to fight for it and be proud of it and not throw it away. my prayers are with u, live your live to the fullest coz we don't have much time on this place don't die with regrets and what could have been.

Very nice. As if India's cup of cultural problems is not enough and full, this new awareness is brought in to the drawing rooms of upper middle class and middle class people. The creatives are somehow bringing this track to a logical end as there is some what social responsibility left in them. Gay guys better keep their so called new innovations to themselves. Why pollute the young minds who are already confused with their adolescence and goals of their lives to be achieved by focussed minds ?

don't criticize what u don't understand. the reason why we have so much intolerance, violence and hatred in the world is coz ppl like u -who are narrow minded and refuse to recognize that human being who are meant to be their individual self and not to be a carbon copy of what society deems them to be. remove your narrow mindedness by educated yourelf and come out of the shell that u have enclosed yourself and truly look at someone u know or don't know and realise that we all have the right to choice what we want in life and that includes not only our partners but our sexual orientation as well.

Okay All of you. I can understand your anger and frustration about what I expressed about gay issue. Answer one question. Did anybody has to compel the society to follow heterosexuality any time in the history? No,na! then why do you guys want to talk aloud about the so personal matter in the public? where is the need? Why publicize it. If you are like that, be like that. What i want to stress is let this be confined to the closed doors as the sexualities are a bit confined to personal lives of people. why asking for recognition ? Why special associations? Why do you need society's acceptance for your personal issue?
By the way, i checked one of your so called sites and feel that it is very impractical to follow the path one set of gay friends selected in choosing their partners. Nobody in other types select their partners in such a way.I am talking about general Indian match selection procedures.

Is that what you will tell your kids or loved ones turn out to be gay. Will you tell them to keep quite and just suck it up?

My parents are one of the most conservative and orthodox people who used to cringe at the very mention of the word sex.But now to my surprise they have become regular viewers of this show and thanks to this show, they have become more accepting and understanding about homosexuality.Kudos to the show for bringing so much respect to this underrepresented group. But if now they change the gay track into gaurav-vidya track, then its going to lose its meaning. It would be a huge setback for such a progressive show.Plz writers don't let this happen. If the show could bring so much change to my own parents mentality. Then guess how much it must have affected the masses positively.I salute the makers of the show for their courage and maturity in including the gay track in the serial without stereotyping.Writers plz don't make us stop respecting u.Bring back Karan-Gaurav relationship.

You say you can understand but you don't.You live in your own world of your perceived right and wrong. You can't spell right.Your post is full of grammatical errors.Yet you speak of biology.Lol.Nobody is compelling anyone here to follow homosexuality. But we are humans and we live in a society. And if a society has to become civilized then its underrepresented groups need to be represented well and accepted and respected. That's basic humanity required to live peacefully.Gays and Lesbians are underrepresented and their is lot of ignorance regarding them.To clear that up,one needs to be made aware of what and who they are.Ignorance breeds fear, intolerance and host of other problems that could lead to dangerous situations for them.Because of that people should be made aware of homosexuality. And media is one of the most powerful platforms to educate people about it.I hope this is enough for you to understand why there is a need to publicize it.They are not exactly making love in the streets,so your question of leaving it behind closed doors is baseless. They need society's acceptance because we all are social beings and we live in a society and so they need the acceptance of the society.Just the same as we heterosexuals need. What is ''general Indian match selection procedures'' according to you?How much knowledge do you have of thousand of communities marriage selection procedure?Marriage is not a interview for a job that it will have a selection procedure.Homosexuality is not a issue. Its not they vs us.Seriously what were you thinking when you were writing the post. Why is it so difficult for you to understand that gays and lesbian are as natural as you,me,the world?Being gay/lesbian is not a disease nor an abnormality. Its normal.
