I for one wouldn't mind seeing a bollywood twist...where ages Devyani had identical twins ..she kept Gaurav with her..and sent his twin away...

This twin happened to grow up and was very similar to his father..all roguish and mean.

However when the truth comes out he comes back...and is angry with all, but he slowly forgives Devyani and falls in love with Vidya...he gives her the attention unknowingly and this new Guarav changes his ways.

Or, the real Guarav is presumed dead with Karan and Devyani brings home a lookalike Gaurav to help the family along...This new Guarav has to pretend to like Vidya too...and in doing so he falls in love with Vidya and it's depicted that he chooses Vidya over any other man..

Real Guarav comes back and sees what's going on..there is this chuppa chuppa story for a while..

And in the end Real Guarav and Karan live happily after and so does new Guarav and Vidya.

New Guarav's real name is Prem.
