And how did this guy become a health minister?

Such racial remarks towards a certain group of people only shows his lack of knowledge and ignorance towards it.. clearly he doesn't seem to have any proper responsibility towards his post..

Well hell, i dont know where to start from.I guess have been a late bird to the talks and hence missed out on a lot of buzz, but here goes.

Initially, as i read through the posts, i was proud to be among such a bunch of liberated, rational and markedly intelligent neo Indian people and was thinking finally the change has come. But no, there came the posts by Sid4teamcanada et al and i was flabbergasted, fluommoxed, surprised and let me confess mildly annoyed.

You people tell us you are from science field, you are the liberals and you have lived in a relatively open culture and then you butcher all that in cold blood as we stand watching your posts.Jeez, do you even wonder if you are making sense or not ?
Lets talk about science and nature first .I am a prospective medical student and you as well as i know theres no such gene or hormone which has been known to make people gay.And thats a FACT !! Otherwise, people like you would have been the first to burn your cash and time out in hope of deactivating that hypothetical gene in the hope of saving a world, which to begin with didnt ask you to save them , but just to let them live in peace. And yes that thing someone above said about what is natural and what not holds true.Very much.Homosexuality is a trend,a trait very much natural in many of the species including humans, and using cellphones, ACs etc.any form of sexual activity which doesnt lead to conception like anal sex (which many of the so called straight people do indulge in ) or using contraceptives is unnatural. But no, your definition of the terms, i persume,is what suits you or the majority is natural and what doesnt give me any profit should be naturally unnatural, isnt it ? To hell with the minority, let them rot in hell, why should we care ? Just a friendly reminder then, remember you people are a minority in the countries you are living being NRIs and dont expect us to have any sympathy or care towards you if the native people decide to show you that majority is the only way to go.

And then somebody said something about heterosexual marriages being time tested in spite of a shameful history of adultery, marrital rapes, divorces and domestic violence,to them i say, why would you harp on the notes of something being right or useful just because it has been used for years ? Gawd,Sati system was prevalent in India since ages and it was an evil, a blot on humanity.AND so we removed it from our culture. You arent still stuck with writing letters in stead of using phones and facebook, arent you ? They are time tested BTW.Traditions, thoughts, concepts and people change with time and that is the only way to go.If you dont change with time, it will wipe you out before you even know it.And if some people are changing for their happiness, for being true to themselves, why is that bothering you.Heck, their sexuality is just a part of their persona and not everything of them. What a person 's worth is has got nothing to do with what they do in their bedroom. And why dont you blame straigt couples for bringing this gay thingy out, after all, they are the ones who keep producing gay children ! :D Stop them probably.

And no, either somebody is gay or not, theres no middle path, theres no choice.Your children wont catch "being gay " from seeing stuff on TV or they should have been gay since long. And the world as we know it should have turned entirely into a homosexual village. Why dont you get it, its not a fashion trend or a choice to be different, its somebody's life and love you are talking about and playing with.Knowing all the difficulties and prejudices gay people face, no one would want to be gay, given a choice. But then again, theres no choice. You cant help who you fall for.

And please, for sense 's sake, just because you dont like something , stop calling that "wrong ".Who gave you the right to decide that ? Respect others' choices and learn to value individuals and love no matter what type they are.Building walls of judgements and prejudices wont take you far. Moreover, religion hasnt got shit to do with discussion, so please dont open an entirely different can of worms.

And what do you mean by "promoting" homosexuality ? Its as much a part of our life and society as are other issues like teenage, love, marriage, parenting, education, grief and struggles. So, its bound to come up in popular art and media ? Whats your problem, shut your eyes out and quarantine your family if it bothers you that much.Heck, they arent just marching in public asking you to hand over your kids to "turn them gay " or otherwise they would kill you or something, now are they ? All they are doing is celebrating their existence, their lives and showing that they exist ,which is every human being 's basic right i guess. Please grow up an learn to deal with and respect diversity and variety in life.Life and world are filled with so many beautiful colours if you would just be willing enough to open your eyes to them.
