@damon_biteme and Viji...Welcome to RM. I'm Jaya. Enjoyed reading your perspectives. Hope to see you back as regulars!

@Viji...About Tara...I recall she is in boarding school and seems to be angry with Uttara. Was there not an episode where she would not speak to Uttara but seemed ok with Rishabh?
I imagine that if the story like does go as far as to put her in the middle of her parents battle, she will probably start with hating Uttara before realizing what Rishabh really is.

Well, overall it was a good episode, but it did have some weaknesses as pointed out by Jaya. Yes, Bauji's absence was glaring, moving from the set up on the floor to the dining table was odd.
Also, I did think that Adi should have been a little more protective of Priya when they first came into the house. Everyone was grilling her - he should have said ' let her sit down', maybe 'Imli, get her some water', or when Gaurav said "what past?" - he should have said 'it's not important now' but he stood there with his arm around her looking at her for answers when she was asked a question. He really should have said - 'listen she needs a few minutes we can do this later or after sitting down'. And when his mother walks into his bedroom - no knock or pause to give them a minute, they are newlyweds in love! Anyway, I think Adi's character would have at least offered one little protest of his usual "mom" instead of just getting up and leaving.

New disappointment in Devyani.
New respect for Uttara's character - she stood up well for herself!

What fantastic acting by all.

Yooo hooo
Ok, as usual some bits worked some didnt...😆

Things that worked:

Aditya's concern towards Priya.
Gaurav's questioning what the dreadful past is!!
The Damocles sword that hung temporarily over Brahmanand's head...I loved Vishwajeet's "scared cat" and Ridhi's "Should I..but maybe not yet" expressions here...😆
Vidya's quick response to Imli, trying to shut her up.
That cute bedroom scene when Devyani barges in!
Uttara's dialogues.

Things that didnt work:

The first scene, unless I missed something yesterday..how did Priya suddenly land up in from of the house?? Wasnt Aditya searching the city for her and roaming somewhere on some random street...?? It was quite discontinous.

I was looking forward to Babuji being there during Priya's return. His absence was glaringly obvious!!

Rishabh's dialogues and the circumstances presented. Uttara was calm and composed. Rishabh was talking of committing suicide and Uttara was giving him a piece of her mind. Under those circumstances he seemed surprisingly calm compared to his previous abusive persona! The supposed slap scene, lacked intensity. And the last scene before he walks away into the bedroom claiming his life is at stake, again fell flat! I dont know who is at fault. Were the actors bored?? or the screenplay confusing or the director sleeping? I felt it was a mixture of all three😉. Uttara was making her point...Rishabh started out with the rants...but calmed down...then lost it again...but all within un-provoked limits! Was he supposed to feel guilt at Uttara's questions that he was swinging like a see-saw? If so, then a few dialogues in that direction would have worked. Now at the end of it, if Uttara does go ahead and sleep with the Rastogi chappie...then I would personally feel she did so voluntarily. There hardly seemed to be any pressure. I am confused...what is the idea being conveyed?? Pressure? Emotional blackmail? Abuse?? I dont get it!

Anyway thats from me...🤗

I agree with you! I just came to grumble about how weird Devyani is, and that she is even weaker than Vidya in terms of characterization! She whisks Aditya away and I expected her to calm Priya down. Instead all she talks about is her Marayada! I agree, Priya should not have eloped but Devyani sort of pressurized Priya more than pacifying her!

Btw, did anyone observe Priya first called Devyani 'Mom' (Adi calls her 'Maa') and then later in the room, Priya called her 'Mummy'. 😛

I liked how Gaurav kept questioning about her sudden elopement. Gaurav, Vidya(in the kitchen with Imli as well) and the rest remaining inquisitive was good from screenplay point of view. 👍🏼

Also Jaya, I dont know why you felt let-down with Uttara-Rishabh scene cuz I thought Kamya was awesome and that was a highpoint of yest's episode for me. ⭐️ 😊 I'm happy they did not show her entering the house rather straightaway came to the point. 😈 Dialogues were superb in their scene, like Uttara saying that when he would abuse it was within them and not like this demand of his where it has an outsider involved. Slimy Rishabh that he is, what shocked me was when Uttara said their daughter would die tomorrow when she learns the truth, he's like we'll see that tomorrow but what about me dying today! 😲 Even if greedy, atleast SSP loves his son, Rishabh thinks only about himself. I'm in a fix who is to be hated the most between the two!🤔

Shreya... 🤗 😆...I had no issues with Devyani's focusing on the family's Maryada in her conversation with Priya...to me, she was very much in character given she had just had another conversation with Brahma just prior to that. With the Uttara - Rishabh scene, I liked the confrontation but it lacked build up. This was a pretty important scene and I felt it needed that.
