Not much to analyze in today's episode...but here goes anyway!

One of the many things I like about this show is the episodic continuity. Granted I am not an avid serial watcher so I have no clue if this is common or not but in the few shows I do watch, this is not something I can take for granted...in fact on most days, it is seriously lacking! Here on the other hand, almost all episodes show a perfect continuity to the one before...I love that!

Today's episode started in the Jhaakar house with Babuji questioning Devyani whether Brahmanand was against the upcoming Aditya - Priya union! I know I have said this before but I feel like saying again how much I love Babuji's "elder-voice-of-reason" type character! I wish there had been more conversation between these two to lay bare why Devyani feels compelled to even remotely consider Brahmanand's demands. But, I guess it had to be this way to keep the drama element in the screenplay and build the suspense up about what she is going to do next!

The Mehendi is getting started at the guest house when Aditya calls Priya. This was a very cute scene and as expected, Aditya's character finds an excuse to challenge himself to show up at the function! As the Jhaakar women then arrive at the guest house, Priya greets Devyani by thanking her and likens Devyani to her own mother. I dislike screenplay convenient dialogs and this was an example of that! The dialogs given to Priya were there for the sole purpose of shining the spotlight on Devyani's supposed dilemma. I hate such cliched screenplay tricks and find it quite unnecessary. That Devyani is feeling conflicted has been established already. So there is no need to have Priya spout such sentimental words right now!

As the actual Mehendi application gets going, Aditya shows up and calls Priya again. While I liked this conversation and scene, some of the editing/detailing left me irritated...specifically, I disliked Vidya's "shy/embarrassed" reaction when Aditya asks Priya for a "I love you" and a kiss. What on earth was that? 😳 Why was Vidya shown looking embarrased like she had overheard what Aditya said?

In the meanwhile, Rishabh meets Rastogi to sign the loan papers. Now, while the screenplay for this scene was ok, I have to admit that I am struggling with this story track itself. I loved how the writers handled the "Rishabh as an abuser" story line and have been saying for a while now that this couple is currently in the typical "calm" phase of the abuse cycle. From that viewpoint, this track only works for me, if, Uttara's reaction to this "indecent proposal & agreement" makes Rishabh abusive again. If not, this track does not work as well for me. Yeah, it would still show the cowardly side of Rishabh's personality, but it does not jive well with the jealous/possessive abusive one.

Back at the guest house, Priya notices a henna mark on her dress and goes to clean it only to find Aditya waiting for her. The simmering passion between the two was shown beautifully as Aditya removes the dupatta! ☺️ Loved it...especially the Aditya play-acting with the dupatta part at the end of the scene!

As Devyani follows Priya to talk to her alone, Aditya places the dupatta on his head to avoid being found there by Devyani and ends up hearing Devyani say the wedding cannot happen!

Overall: Decent episode...a 3/5 for me.

BabuJi-Devyani: so far i have to day love this guy ! he is the Best character in this show so far 👏 now im defo sure he'll be the 1st 1 Defendin Priya 😃

Rastogi-Rishab : 👎🏼 Better i dnt tawk about thm 😡 ! cuz the words i wanna Use r Against IF rules 😡 ! JERK !! Argh !!

I mean Seriously ! Rishab actually is thinkin of tellin Uttara 😕 ! has he lost it ! wah wife will Ever Agree 😡

Now when this Rastogi used his brain 😡 ! Im sure Rishab will force Uttara now 😡 to save his limited liabilities 😡

hey everyoneeee

i could not watch the whole episode yaar..i was at some relatives house and had to watch it in mute mode...i will comment when i watch in detail...but i was really thrilled to watch even in mute bcs there seemed to be lot of adiya romance and manal dont miss this episode do take time to watch it... and 1 more thing i noticed was that vidya is looking pretty than before..at the start of serial and from some episode i am watching the difference...she looks more pretty now...

and manal yaar than where will we chat ???????

Shelly...I did not pay attention to it but your post from yesterday and Ani's today made me more aware...I love the appropriateness of the dressing recently...very wedding like...especially yesterday & today!

i also just watched the first part...yaar i just love this character of bao jee..he is supposed to be from old school of thoughts but he understands priya situation....but i pity devyani..i think these sort of women give more chance to men to c them as inferior being...she should stand for her son...everyone will obvoiusly side with her..how can she sacrifice her son happiness for a husband who is not only wrong but treats her as a maid....i just feel like scolding her😡
