Maryada - 10th December Writtten Update

Priya is telling Aditya to concentrate on his exams and do well. (HEHE) Aditya brings his cheek forward (assuming to get a good luck kiss) but Priya is unresponsive. In the meantime, SSP calls Aditya and tells him to wait there as he is coming there to meet Priya. But the bell rings, indicating that the exams are about to starts so Aditya tells SSP that he has to go in so he should hurry. But the second bell also rings and Aditya again says that he has to go in or he won't get entry in the exam hall (really??? Why so?). Anyways, SSP tells him to go and he will meet Priya himself. Aditya describes Priya and tells him she will wait for him at the college entrance. Pirya is a bit worried about meeting his dad alone but Aditya assures her. They both wish each other good luck and leave. Priya is waiting for SSP at the entrance and we see SSP getting out of his car. He sees Priya from behind and walks towards her. He introduces himself to the girl and the girl turns around. DUN DUN DUN'.its not Priya!!! But the girl seems to know Aditya so she says of course, who doesn't know him, he is the SSP of the area. SSP says that even Aditya has said a lot about her. The girl is a bit surprised but says that sweet. SSP gets a call and he has to leave but he tells the girl to tell Aditya that he likes his choice a lot. The girl is confused. SSP sits in the car and then Priya notices all police cars, but they all start leaving.

Vidya enters the kitchen worried about Devyani as she has a lot of work due to the wedding. She tells Imli that she will help Devyani with all the housework so she doesn't have much burden. Imli teases her that be careful that it does not end like Sindoori night where she gets drunk and falls asleep. But Vidya reprimands her saying that was all because of you and goes to find some list. On finding the list, she starts writing/ticking something in it. Imli watches her in wonder. On the other side, Mr. P is worried about the short span of time for the wedding. Chinu asks him to relax and everything will be done. He scolds chinu and asks him if he spoke to the halwai. Chinu says no but he has made a list'.and Mr.P says, that's all he will do, make list and someone else will get the order. Mr.P leaves from there saying he will do everything. Chinu dials Priyas number and asks her to come home quickly (btw she is still waiting at the college). Priya leaves from there.

Devyani and Sweety come home after shopping, all tired (that was my condition last week after I went Christmas shopping..haha) . Gaurav teases them saying that now it looks like a wedding house, as they come from shopping with shopping bags. Devyani says that there is so less time for the wedding, she got whatever she could and came. Vidya comes in saying that's why she made a list and asks Devyani to look over in case she missed something. Devyani happily takes the list to look at and asks Vidya to sit. She takes a look at the list and is surprised. She gives the list back to Vidya and asks her to read. Vidya starts reading and it's a mixture of English and Hindi (she says Kalling Mehaman). Hearing her read the list out loud, everyone (including imli) starts sniggering. Sweety starts laughing out loud and Devyani scolds her. Devyani tells Vidya that she did a good job but there was no need for the list as she already has made a list. Vidya feels a bit bad, looks at Gaurav and then leaves. Vidya sits in her room sad and gaurav comes there and reads the list out again. She says that just as everyone did not understand , you won't understand the list either so he should read again and again. Gaurav consoles her. Vidya asks him if he would teach her English and he agrees. She leaves happily to get some English book for him to teach her.

Aditya comes out of exam and rings Priya. He asks about her meeting with his dad. She says he came but went without meeting her. He hangs up and was about to leave but that girl (who SSP thought was Priya) comes to talks to him but he says he is in hurry and will talk to her later and leaves. Devyani is talking to Uttara and tells her that the wedding is after 15 days. She tells her that she is worried about all the arrangements. Uttara suggest a wedding planner, Mrs. Bindara, as she is the best wedding planner in the city. She asks uttara to come with the wedding planner too. She sees SSP come into the house very angry so tells uttara she will call her later. SSP in his room packing when Devyani comes and asks him why is he home early and why is he packing. She keeps on asking question after question. He tells her it is not what she thinks. His meeting with Priya was good but he has got transfer orders. Devyani is worried but SSP tells her not to worry, he will handle it within a couple of days.

Vidya is in the kitchen with Imli and says she is very happy as gaurav is getting used to her now. Imli says what is she talking. Just by gaurav teaching her English doesn't mean he will fall in love with her. Imli asks her to take a rose and ask gaurav to put it in her head. If he does, he loves her, if he doesn't than he still doesn't love her (what kind of logic is this???). Gaurav is in his room when Vidya comes running with the book. He asks her to sit to study. He asks her what is she hiding behind her (it's a rose). Uttara is shown talking to the wedding planner. Rishabh asks her what's the matter and she tells him that Aditya's wedding has been fixed and she is going shopping. Risabh looks on worried.

Precap ' Aditya asks Priya why she is there all of a sudden. Priya tells Aditya this wedding cannot happen.
