It's pretty ironic isn't it. I mean as the audience we know what the truth is, yet when you watch the characters in the show, you just feel amazed by their innocence.
And this is what Devyani's reaction probably was. She knows that her husband isn't what he claims to be, yet she keeps quiet for the sake of maryada. And today hearing her son say that, it just quickly stung through her heart. Because in one way, she knew she was cheating her own son by keeping quiet, but at the same time, she didn't really want to hurt her son by revealing the truth about his father. It's basically a no-win situation for her at the moment. I guess some stuff can't be hidden for too long. The truth will eventually prevail.

Aditya: His two worlds are going to collide the family he thought he knew and loved, and the woman he loved despite not knowing. He unfortunately is going to have one of the hardest paths to choose from. He is going to have to choose a side, for the wrongs his father has done is going to shatter every illusion he had built up for the man he wants to be like, a respectable man. This poor guy has no clue that the man he loves and adores is pure evil and when it comes out it is going to leave him shattered. And yet if any man has the strength to come out of disjointed illusions it is Aditya. He is going to have to prove that his love truly is pure that he will stand by Priya and fight with her for her justice even if it's against his own father. Watching him today apologizing to his father for having to prove to Priya that not all policemen are bad, that most are actually respectable and honorable it made my heart sad for he was totally talking to the one man that destroyed his beloved's life, and was soon going to destroy his as well.

I mean he's a very good person at heart, but the fact that he doesn't seem to know much about his family secrets and is living in his own small world, it just really gets you. And the fact that this happy world of his is going to shatter soon, it just gets to you. It's like watching a baby sleep, looking all peaceful, and you just don't want to wake it up. But he will succeed in coming out of this mishap. It'll only make him stronger as a person and yes he will support Priya throughout in bringing his dad down.
Aditya is going to be pivotal in this firestorm. He will either make or break Priya, by supporting her or going against her. One thing that I really loved about yesterday's episode was his support of Brahmanand and his profession. Not saying that I'm in any way in support of SSP, but what we as the audience know, Aditya is unaware of. For him, his dad is his idol, so naturally he has respect in him. The whole love-at-first-sight thing was great, but I had been feeling that Aditya's deal over marrying Priya after what, a week, two weeks, a month maximum, was becoming obsessive to the point of self-destruction. I'm glad that he remembered and realises that he has parents too and loves them as much, if not more than, Priya. I'm glad that he was willing to sacrifice a girl he barely knows (but loves ardently) for the parents who raised him. It shows that while he might be spontaneous and sometimes naive, he is not stupid or obsessed. So many times in TV shows you get people who say "You don't like my dad? Fine, I'll disown them and run away with you without a second thought", and that to me is pretty stupid.
Having said that, Aditya is and will soon be in a very big bind. Some of it is his own making - if he had read Priya's letter he would have known that her fear/hatred of policemen is not "unnecessary" or strange - it stems from a very real incident and has basis in fact. Okay, so not every policeman can be tarred with the same brush, but if he had read the letter he would have least understood where she was coming from. Now he can't go back and ask why on earth she is so opposed to the police force, because of course that would tell her that he lied to her about the letter.
On the other hand, fear of policemen or not, the fact is that Brahmanand is THE policeman who caused Priya's whole world to turn upside down. Will Aditya believe/accept this? Unlike Gaurav, he idolises his dad and is proud of being a policeman's son. He has none of Gaurav's suspicions (does he know anything?) or Devyani's knowledge; his words that "nothing in her past can make me stop loving her" were to me a serious foreshadowing that there may actually be a dealbreaker for Aditya - the respect of his parents. I have no doubt that once Aditya has proof of what SSP did, he will stand by Priya and hate his father for his actions, but how soon will he get there? Can he trust Priya's word, especially as she never even knew the bade sahib's name? If Devyani keeps mum, will he follow her lead? After all, if Mum tells him that Dad is "innocent", he must be, right?
All in all, I see a very interesting and exciting set of storylines due to emerge and I can't wait to see how they all deal with this.

I think that it'll be postponed once again. Infact, I even think that Aditya and Priya's marriage will happen unexpectedly. So, all I can say is that the meet isn't probably happening too soon. The SP probably won't even be at the 'function" [/quote]
I agree with this. I think that the only logical way that Aditya Priya can get married at this point is for them to either do it in secret, or to do it when SSP is away. I don't see Priya as the ghoongat-over-face-for-the-entire-ceremony type, and there's no way she'll marry Aditya if she sees SSP first. Frankly, I'm surprised Aditya didn't just marry her in the mandir yesterday and take her home, but I guess he wants to try the "traditional" route first. Maybe after a series of false starts and stops he'll get fed up and just bharo-her-maang-with-khoong, filmi ishtyle😆
