Maryada - 4th November Written Update!
The episode starts off with Priya, Chinu and Mr. Pradhan entering their house, only to find a few goons drinking and playing cards. Mr. Pradhan shouts, and says, "How did you get inside?! What are you doing?! How did you break the lock of my house?!" He is very angry! 😕 A goon sitting on the sofa says to Mr. Pradhan, "Why did you come back, Uncleji? We had thought that you'd left forever. What is this Uncleji? You don't have much respect in your community! 😡 But still, you came back to this community with pride! Wah!" 😡 Mr. Pradhan is furious and orders the goon to get up and get out! Mr. Pradhan decides on using his favourite line again: "Meh tum par case karoonga!" 😆 He says that they broke into his house without his permission, and another goon interrupts him, saying "No Uncleji don't do that!" He then says, "Bhaiya, not Uncleji but his daughter is very well known to the police!" Priya looks shocked and Chinu looks angry! The first goon replies, "Just known? I have heard that they have a lot of relationships with her!" 🤢 Chinu gets really angry and grabs the first goon by the collar, but Mr. Pradhan pulls him off the goon. The goons start singing (not very well, might I add! 😆)! Priya gets lots of FBs of when the police arrested her and when she is being followed by a swarm of press! 😕 The goons start fighting Mr. Pradhan and Chinu, and Priya is trying to stop it all! She leaves the room, then comes back in tough girl mode! 😆 She shouts "Stop!" and everyone looks at her. She says, "When I get to three, if you guys aren't out of here, I will stab myself and put the entire blame on you! Understand?!" 😲 Woah, Priya - didn't know you was gonna go that far! 😆 She continues, "And remember, the punishment of the murder of a defamed girl is the same as you would get for the murder of anyone else! If you love your life, then get out!" She starts to count, but the first goon warns them that today the goons are leaving, but tomorrow, it will be them who will leave! 😕 They leave, and Mr. Pradhan hugs Priya and Chinu telling them that they will not go!
Uttara is standing in front of the mirror, and Rishabh is approaching her - she is holding something in her hand, which he throws away. Uttara is scared and Rishabh has a suggesting look on his face! 😕 He kisses her hands, and Uttara looks away and closes her eyes in fear. She looks up at him and he says to her, "Don't you want to go to your Jija and Didi's house? Look at me - I am ready!" She replies, "I am not feeling like going anywhere. Anyway, it will be very crowded there - I don't want to be in the crowd." 😕 Rishabh says, "If we don't go, your Jija will start taunting me! I will not like listening to him taunting me." Uttara goes on triying to dissuade him, but is not successful, and Rishabh holds her by her waist, then leaves the room. Uttara is crying.
At the Jhaakar house, and Adi is walking around, (more like swaggering! 😆) and looks quite worried or in deep thoughts. He sits down, and just then, Uttara and Rishabh arrive, and Uttara is wearing a ton of EXTREMELY heavy make-up! 😆 Rishabh walks to Adi and asks him what is the matter. Adi looks up. He continues, saying it is your brother's wedding night, what thoughts are you lost in? 😆 Adi looks.. calm yet slightly angry/irritated! He looks at Uttara, standing on her own, and then fires daggers at Rishabh 😆 before getting up out of his seat. He walks straight past Rishabh to Uttara! 😆 He says to her, "You are looking very nice!" 😳 He says something else as well, but I guess I'm not that fantastic at translating! 😆 The SSP reaches there and is happy to see Uttara has arrived. Uttara smiles tentatively at him, then looks at Rishabh, standing alone where Adi was sat. The SSP looks over at Rishabh, his smile fading when he sees him! 😆 Rishabh isn't exactly too pleased to see him either! 😆 The SSP tells Uttara that Devyani is waiting for her, she was anxious to meet her from a long time! He tells her to go and meet Devyani! Adi takes Uttara to Devyani. The SSP shouts for Jaggi and tells him that Rishabh is standing alone, he should take care of him! 😆
Adi is taking Uttara to meet Devyani and she is apologising to him because she got them worried about her. Adi says, "Come on, Masi! It's nothing like that!" 😳 Aaw, he's so sweet to everyone! 😆 She says, " OK, leave that. Tell me, how is your love story going on?" 😆 Adi smiles cheekily (😲!!!😍) - and says, "The love story is a super hit! She is lost somewhere, but I will find her! 😳 They say, don't they - absence makes the heart grow fonder!" 😳😳😳 Just then, Imli decides to make an appearance to stop all the love talks 😆 - she tells Uttara to hurry up and to meet Devyani! She leaves, and Uttara tells Adi to keep an eye on Rishabh, in case he drinks too much! 😕 Adi agrees and tells her to go. She leaves and Adi walks off.
The ladies in the room are getting up, but Imli arrives and tells them all to wait, because Uttara has arrived! Devyani gets very happy on hearing this! 😊 Uttara arrives there, and Devyani goes to her, but there is a slight awkwardness between the two women. 😕 Vidya takes Uttara's blessings, and Devyani tells Uttara to apply the paste to Vidya! Uttara blesses Vidya to be happy always. She looks at Devyani, with a sad look, and Devyani's smile fades. Devyani brushes it off and tells everyone to get up! 😕 Vidya is laying in a lovely bubblebath and Devyani pours milk into the bath and smiles at her! 😊 She tells Vidya, "Remember this, Vidya. A home is not made by the husband, but the wife! A wife keeps the home intact, and a marriage intact!" 😕 Seems like Devyani is hinting to Vidya! She carries on, saying, "The sindoor which a husband fills his wife's forehead with, on this night should be on his bed!" Woah, Devyani, don't get too technical! 🤣 Devyani is applying a hell of a lot of sindoor to Vidya's forehead! Seems like she meant that thing literally! 😆 Vidya is being laden with jewels, and Devyani and Uttara leave her sitting in her decorated room! Sweety and Imli are giggling outside 😆 and Devyani and Uttara have a very weird conversation about Uttara's married life. Devyani starts up again with her "wife does this.." advice 😆 and tells Uttara that if a woman wants to, she can make everything alright! 😕 She is hinting that Uttara is not trying hard enough to save her marriage! 😕 Bit hard when you're being knocked of your senses by your husband! 😕 She is interrupted by the band downstairs and all the men are dancing! Even Adi is having a gala time! 😆 Sweety goes to Devyani and asks if she can go downstairs, but Devyani refuses, saying only men are downstairs, and they are all drunk! It wouldn't be right for her to go downstairs, or for any woman to go downstairs! She tells Sweety that if anyone misbehaves with her, then Adi and the SSP will go mental, and blaze the whole house down, or something! 😆 Sweety asks Uttara to explain to Devyani, but Devyani refuses! 😕 Uttara says, "Isn't it strange, Didi, how men can get drunk and dance, and even misbehave, but women can't have fun!" Devyani looks away, cross! 😕 Uttara says to Sweety, but still looking at Devyani, "Chal, Sweety, aaj hum bhi maaza karenge!" 😕 I'm guessing she's trying to get back at Devyani for covering everything up! 😕 She carries on, saying, "Because we are no less than anyone else!" Devyani looks shocked! 😲 They both go down to dance! Devyani says to herself, "I hope, on this night, no-one casts an evil eye!" 😕
PRECAP: Uttara is drunk and tells Imli to bring 'juice' (alcohol) for Devyani! Imli goes off to fetch it! She drinks it, and gets drunk and starts partying with the other ladies! 🤣
