Meera comes to Adi's room. They tease/taunt one another about maakad and sanika. Adi tells Meera about how he got "engaged" to Sanika. She says but Sanika loves you and they finally we come to the promo scene where Adi says I have told you many times whom I love but now I want to hear it from you...whom do you like? Amol comes running and tells them to come down immediately as Dr. Pathak has called them. A big accident has happened at his nursing home which was under construction. A few workers are injured on-site, media is involved, some leader has taken up their cause. He is worried about the consequences and feels a little faint. They give him medicines. Sulu is worried about how they will deal with this? Dr. Pathak says no one is going to help me, I have too many enemies jealous of my success. Only Dr. Vaishampayan can save me now as he is very influential. Otherwise I might land up in jail too. Sanika is calling Adi but before he can pick up Dr. V comes to their home. Dr. V tells him that we will have to bribe a few peeps, talk to people, etc but right now you leave from here. Meera asks but then how will he talk to police? Dr. V says we will decide when to talk to the police. Meera says but we cannot decide such things, the police will decide when to call him in. Dr. V says ordinary folks cannot, but people like us can. He says we do not want him to undergo questioning right now otherwise the media will conduct its own trial and declare him guilty. But Meera says why run away like that when you are not at fault. Dr. V asks if she is family, Dr. P says no and Amol says yes ...Dr. V asks Amol to tell Meera that we know how to handle problems. Dr. v then asks Dr. P to go away from here till things cool down. Switch off your phone too. He asks Sulu to pack Dr. P's bags. She objects but the doctors do not listen to her. Meera goes to help Sulu.

Adi too tries to convince Dr. P to not run away but he doesnt listen. The police come to meet Dr. Pathak at his home but Dr. V says he isnt home, has left for Delhi. But right then Sulu comes with a suitcase saying the packing is done. The police question them about the bag and say we need to check the suitcase. Dr. V dials the commissioner and makes the inspector talk to him who instructs him to leave. He tells them to inform the police once Dr. P is back from Delhi.

Dr. V promises Sulu the police will never come back here and promises Dr. P that he will rescue him too. The commissioner is an old patient of Dr. V so he has promised to help Dr. V. Meera says we are doctors, we treat others, we should not barter our skills for favours. Dr. P asks her to shut up.

Precap: Meera says you are my seniors, we learn looking at you. Never thought this is what I will get to learn. Dr. P tells her she can leave tomorrow if her work here is done. Meera is shown leaving the house with her bags in her hand but Adi asks her to stop

I haven't watched...though I agree with @Shruti. When Dr. P said only Dr. V can help that was a red flag for me that something is amiss.

Ho tine jaun vadilanna sangitla asel ke Adi loves Meera. So he sagla natak to emotionally blackmail Adi to marry Sanika. Vadilanna vachavnysathi etc etc🥱

Or could be that they want to write off Dr. P and Sulu from the show and hence this plot.
