Okayish episode. Nimkar Diwali celebration.
Pushpa is reluctant to give mobadala to others but took for granted that they are available and ready to help in her time of need. We rant and rave about her mother. But I feel
she is more relatable, has actual human flaws such as greed, jealousy, blind faith, immaturity of thoughts, inconsistent actions & so on. Her character is very real.
You are right her character is very real but still extremely irritating. I dislike her sometimes.
It was nice way how Isha thought about sending faral to VS. She is so happy to imagine how much happy VS will be when he receives homemade snacks. A kind soul. Isha and her father are very sorted in their thoughts about showing gratitude to the people who helped them. That was indeed heartwarming to see how father and daughter are on the same wavelength there.
Pushpa's comment about changing the dress I think came out of her deprivation habit. She hasn't really realized that Isha can now afford to wear better clothes and if they get spoilt can afford to replace them too. I somehow like the fact that Isha has not gone on shopping spree yet. She is spending quite frugally and always thinks of spending for her parents comfort before her. The scene where she wishes to save for her parent's London trip showed how much she wants to see them happy.
In that case shouldn't she actually be thinking of saving that money? Not dream about going to London? If VS goes to US or Switzerland next would that be her next instant dream?!
As someone who has needed to borrow money against her Mangalsutra shouldn't she think maybe should buy something of gold so it can come handy if needed? Isha is in love and it is somewhat unnatural that she doesn't want to buy pretty clothes. Even if Isha is not going shopping her mother even father should tell her to buy something for herself, in fact they should want to spend the money on Isha.
Sometimes I feel, is Isha real? What are her flaws, well except her inability to keep office hours. She is working to supplement family income, maybe she has now taken the role of the major breadwinner. She is earning brownie points and actual moolah in the office with her blockbuster ideas coming to fruition. She can cook, clean. Has sadhi rahani. Frugal with spending, respects her parents and elders.
Maybe you guys have a better idea and can analyze better on this thought. I want this character to not be single dimensional.
I am not saying I don't like Isha. In fact I do very much. However if CVs present her as a human being, then in order to appreciate this character, I need to feel both good and bad. Cause no human is infallible. But maybe serial logic is different in which case this point is mute. 😕
Isha hasn't had much exposure to outside life maybe due to their economic status, but not wanting to buy new clothes, look pretty for VS is too saintly! She should have told her mother today is Diwali, everyone in office will dress well so I want to wear the new dress to office.
By the way, wish you all a very happy fun filled enjoyable Diwali. Thanks for sharing amazing posts everyone and showing me different points of view for our serial TPR. 😆
