Kamalji ..m talking in a generic terms with respect to the awards..
Naktu was pathetic at the start and that went against the show ..it is only now after they introduced Nupur Niraj track that the show has become interesting..

Agreed that Samir (sainkit kamat) needs to brush his teeth immediately with Colgate because he looks like always sleep-walking guy. But "tazgi bhara fresh chehra" award to him is a mockery 😆 ...may be they wanted to give award for everyone. including undeserving candidates.

@pri_b, actually I liked Naktu at the start because of bubbly PM and some good actors like Prasad Oak and a bit farcial comedy was good. Then dumbos like Bharat Jadhav and Ingle came and it became so repetitive that I stopped watching it. Now at the end they have decided to change to a regular romantic format with Abhi Naktu which again is watchable. PM has managed all the subtle changes quite well and Abhi has complemented her well.

One imp observation is that all serial artists have to sit together for any awards show. Not just ZM but even star, zee and sony follow this code. So Abhijit Khandkekar's real wife had to sit away from him because he had to sit with Radhika+shanaya in audience.

The NLYH show is nearing the end so that's the reason probably channel wasn't much bothered about outgoing show. Same is the case with MNB which hardly won any awards despite ranking no 1 for so long. There was huge audience support from Kolhapur district and around for TJR and Satara audience for LJJ. As they gathered votes on social media, the crowds in these areas must have voted generously. Though it is doubtful how much channel gives importance to those votes.

KDP wasn't in race or Rishi-Sayali didn't have a performance, mhanun navhe..tar overall mala program changla nahi vatala!!

Aso, can we discuss/reminisce about KDP??

Though many friends don't like the track after marriage, I like it!! The journey from 'Kay kartyos??' to the utterly romantic going for the paan...!! or Gauri's kissing Shiv during that amazingly simple but lovely morning walk..., Is nothing short of mesmerizing!! The true Love, the positivity, the respect, the trust of Shauri on each other is mind blowing!!

Ahh... the 1st promo's link I had posted here...I love it!! Becoz, it gives the right flavour of what KDP is about!! The lovely couple celebrating Gudhi Padva... he saying there's your new year gift...she looking with surprised n love mixed nazar at him, he directing n she very happy to see her parents at her house!! Running ecstatically towards them but before bowing for their blessings she takes the padar on her head n while embracing her mother happily looking lovingly at him, he reassuring with his eyes... speaking to her volumes...n coming down to take blessings!! So much is said within the small duration of the promo!! N what was promised then was followed in the show...simple n beautiful depiction of relationships across two different cultures!! Ahh... KDP how I miss you!!

There was no excitement for KDP fans in this year's ZMA. None of the KDP stalwarts present and raat gayi baat gayi. Even the once top star of ZM, Lalit cut a lonely figure.

ZM is a pure and simple commercial venture, bare minimum emotions and attachments to their past stars.

If we look back, though the Amma tantrums were very painful. I don't think they were as painful as some of the stuff being shown in most serials in ZM as well as other Marathi channels. The ups and downs in the life of Shauri at Benaras were well presented and except for a couple of episodes where I felt a bit frustrated with Amma, overall I could easily watch, with always the hope that Shauri will turn the tide sooner than later.
