The writing is amazing and so is direction. I was really feeling very sad after SP stopped relaying Agnihotra, but now I have got something to look forward to everyday

NJ you had asked about Mohan Agashe being a psychiatrist...seems he caught the acting bug while at medical college...Wiki has all the info wrt the same...in fact even now he is the principal investigator for an Indo-US joint project on cultural disorders of fatigue and weaknesses.

Vidya, this is another good serial I am looking forward to. This time I have decided not to miss it. Dont want to have another disappointed like Agnihotra. Acting by everyone is really gr8.

Just one word for this serial: GRIPPING.

My purpose of watching this serial is the acting by the stalwarts...their dialog delivery and body language...It doesn't matter to me if its a repetitive story of a revenge or whether its adapted from an english novel/movie...its an absolute treat to watch Mukta, Vandana Gupte, Dr.Mohan Agashe and all of them.

@Vidya - I did read about Mohan Agashe on wiki later.. someone just randomly told me the other day that he is a psychiatrist in real life too so just wanted to confirm.

First week was interesting. Mukta Barve continues her fast-talk style.A minor point of contention- there is no feel that 2 years have elapsed since the accident.
Rajwade's handling of romantic & light stories is excellent. Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai 1 can be considered classic. However MPM 2 & "Ti Sadhya" ,considering the hype, were disappointing.
In suspense genre , leaving aside " Asambhav "( which was anyway stretched later so not his fault ),his work is not satisfactory at all. In " Gair" & in the suspense part of " Guntata hriday he' , no clues were given to the viewers . The characters never asked any pertinent questions. All the explanation was given in the last part .
However this serial can be classed as thriller & so let us hope that this will be interesting.

@charudeu - satish rajwade is not the director of Rudram he is only actor. Here he is not involved in any behind the screen activity of any sort. But no doubt he is great director. TSSK, MPM, Agnihotra, GHH and Asambhav are his best work till dt. However GHH was a copy of English movie and agnihotra based on english novel. Nevertheless that doesn't take any credit away from him.

Except MB all others will have smaller roles. Satish rajwade will be coming back in flashbacks. Even flashbacks are too fast for a serial.
