All said and done I think the Vichitra thread is on it's last legs. Once AD is fully convinced about MD's views (that seems to happening now) then Vichitra ki toh khaire nahi!

@Basanti, yes my POV too with a slight difference. When she came to Dwadi she was infatuated with Dadhivala but had never seen the intricacies of a marriage. When she started living in Dwadi she started observing the deep love between AD and MD (specially how he was so caring about MD) and probably started idolizing AD (maybe unknowingly it was love) and hoped Dadhivala would also become like AD. When he turned out exactly opposite of AD (though witch knew his behavior from beginning) she started visiting Dwadi at the smallest pretext to be close to AD and with Dadhivala kicking her out, she was quite happy to come back to Dwadi.
I think Chitra is supposed to be a very complex character. Unfortunately Sayali Deodhar is very amateurish for such a complex role. Maybe a seasoned actress would have done justice to that role.

Zoey we did interact on 3D ! This forum I visit and read regularly but felt its more like die hard fans thread..

I was losing interest a few months back but its coming back now that MD has realized Vichitra's love interest in AD. So I dint post much, but if you check many, many threads back, I used to post.

I had posted the most harsh reply when Mishkil had questioned married ladies, how would you take if your husband gives regular bike rides to unrelated lady; and moreover would you make dabba for her?😆

Kamal how I hope this role was played by an able actress.. Sayali Deodhar really is ruining the acting space she gets. And she looks not worthy of even a print ad with that weak chin and toadish mouth combination. Younger Neelam Shirke or even the loud Rajani in KRD would have made justice, no?

I agree with your other points too; her obsession of Dwadi was nothing but the obsession with AD.

@bold, I would have preferred an unknown face (but very talented) from the college natya spardha circuit. I think there must be several good actresses around in the college circuit. Any way SD is a total misfit here. Anyone else would have certainly been better.

Hi Guys. I have been reading quite lot of analysis by you all. Wanted to add some of my analysis.

Some may say that MD is spending so much time in nagging or brainwashing AD.
I dont feel MD is nagging at all. She is brainwashing him because his way of looking at things will always be different than her (Gender Plays VITAL role).

I just saw that perfume scene again and find that it shows more than what we have understood (my view). As a smiling witch gives AD the perfume of her choice, AD becomes very thoughtful and immediately witch becomes serious and asks him what is it. "Kahi nahi, pan ayushat ghadta asa kadhi kadhi" says AD and looks at her padlela chehra. I think AD was testing MD's theory ki "tula tras zala ki ti kasavis hote". I think AD has recognized this theory of MD is correct.
I dont agree with this statement of yours. AD is not that kind of person who will test MDs theory anytime. He has full trust on MD. He feels that because MD loves him very much, she is possibly feeling little insecure because Witch has become so much dependent emotionally on AD. My POV was the he got proof of MDs statement when Witch taunted MD reg disturbing late at nite (for which MD has already apologized to Witch). His got further proof, when Witch made him change the perfume to her choice of perfume.

The attraction between Dabbi and AD was hinted at during the pre-dadhivala days but it really bloomed only after the breakup with dadhivala.
I dont agree with this point at all. There is no attraction between AD and Witch. Witch has infatuation or one sided love for AD. These two are very different than each other. If there is attraction between them, it has to be from both the sides. Here it is only one sided.

@ Nachiket and DD, I agree with you reg Witch. Like you guys mentioned it is really difficult to tolerate Witch more now. Like Zoey had also mentioned earlier, she is most self centered person who got married with her own wish. No one had forced her into that marriage, unlike MD who had to marry against her own wish. Forget Dfamily, she should be the one who should be informing her parents reg her todays condition, its her responsibility rather than someone else. She was the one who enterted into her marriage with totally wrong expectations. I wont even blame Manoj for their failed marriage. But CVs are showing that she is one sadhi saral garib bichari mulagi, as if she has not done anything wrong. This is my main problem with Witchs character.

@Basantii, I dont agree with you that she was in love with AD before marriage. I never felt it that way. Ok she was always intruding into AD-MDs privacy, claiming ADs time which should have been MDs. I always felt that she expected the kind of pampering MD gets, romance btwn AD-MD from Manoj. But she never took into consideration the fact that there is basic difference in AD and Manojs nature. They are poles apart. She didnt understand that she can not compare her marriage with someone elses successful marriage, without knowing what they have done to make their marriage successful.


Reg Valvalnare haat, hugs and other such things, even I feel that they were not required to make her fall for AD. But here I have different POV again. My POV is valvalnare haat were there before Witchs marriage also, so why didnt she fall for AD at that time. AD used to care for her at that time also. Why fall for him only now. Thats because this girl is most stupid and selfish girl. She doesnt have brains to think that ADs behaviour towards her has not changed at all. Her way of looking at those things have changed. She has become so selfish in her attraction towards AD that she is not taking into consideration ADs feelings also, forget MD. She is just expecting AD to feel attracted towards her in spite of getting proofs of AD-MDs love each other everyday.

Reg Bike Rides, I know you guys will not agree with my POV here but I never once felt that she is sitting indecently on the bike or AD making any advances there.

Agree. But he was looking at her face which suddenly transforms from a smile to serious look and so I was reminded of MD's point about Kasavis hona. Might be my interpretation was wrong.

You have misunderstood what I was saying. AD getting attracted to witch 'cha prashnach yet nahi. It was one sided throughout.

Agree they were not required to make her fall for AD. What I said was that it was included for MD and Babaji to recognize she was falling for AD.
