i dont think that this is typical MIL like Ekta serials. She has her reasons to be angry/sad and she has confessed that it will take time. She is not doing any kat-karasthana to bring down her DIL. So this serial is still different than those.

This is such a basic error that it boggles the mind that neither the director nor any crew member nor the actors caught it. It is not such an unusual word either. Adi *repeated this mistake* last week when he described Adu to Nana during their otherwise nice conversation.

In ELTG, I distinctly remember Om pronouncing 'sala-ried' where 'ried' rhymes with 'died'. Again, a shockingly glaring basic mistake in pronunciation that nobody caught.

Since we are discussing Marathi serials in English on these fora, I thought I should bring these up.

At the time of Meg's MA exam,when she was caught cheating, everyone including Meg,AD and Adu were saying they met "Moderator". Actually the moderator is related to checking of exam papers. They should have said invigilator instead.Again a blunder unnoticed by any cast and crew.

Didn't notice it myself, but this time it's the writer who is at fault. I suppose the others don't know any better either!

In my earlier post, I missed the names of Deepa & ITGirl as two persons contributing to the excellent discussion when I took the names of Zoey, Kuldeep & Rupali. Apologies to both!

So the wooden peti defied the laws of Physics to meet a watery grave? How appropriate!

Meg should seriously try pasting some different expressions on her face. I didn't watch JYRG for the longest time because the serial was in just the 1st gear (when ELTG was stuck in neutral and HSMHG was going in reverse) with both M&A with the same expressions on their faces - she with a pained, dazed, dumb expression and he with a sleepy-eyed, blank, slightly sad mug.

While I am in this mood, let me voice a few of my pet peeves about almost all serials:

1. How often do you hear characters telling other people "tU pratham shAnt ho" for absolutely no reason even when the other person is NOT overreacting/ panicking etc? I think I heard this phrase in all the serials Wed night (Durva, JYRG, HSMHG, ELTG) in whatever little snippets I saw.

2. Another favourite filler sentence is "mI tujhyAsAThI chahA karUn ANto/ ANte" no matter whether the person has had tea moments ago, no matter the time or situation! Since it's just a filler, you never see tea being brought anyway!

3. Whenever a character has to make a wiity/ sarcastic comment, it is prefixed with "Kasa Ahe nA" as if to alert the viewers that they should turn the volume up and pay attention to the remainder of the sentence!

Similar situation can come, when Megh in fear of hurting/loosing Adi hides her accidental meetings with AN, and AD though he trusts Megh completely when comes to know abt it on its own, will be hurt. Again as you mentioned here no one will be wrong but situation plays imp role.
Aso, I completely agree writers please don't AD character graph drastically, but afterall he is human, so some natural reactions are acceptable rather will be believable than his GOD image!

Vidya, you watched Dastaan too. Yes it's so depressing but imp that what Pakistan got from partition, Nothing, as the heroine says "Jab yahi sab karna tha to Hindustan kya bura tha. "I don't think Zindagi channel will show that here in India.

I also finished watching "Daam" another nice one from the writer of ZGH dedicated to friendship. Starting some epi are having slow pace as they are introduction type but middle to end is awesome.But don't go for it if you don't like sad endings.

Mai feeling that Megh might have done "tadjod" when she decided to stay with Adi, is quite natural IMHO. Megh is always receiving love, care, protective shell from Adi, and yes gifts too😉

There is a need of such scene/s that shows her love (not just by words or physical but beyond that) for Adi...

Also, I don't completely buy her "kharepana" kautuk dhol , about what she told Adi on first night.

First of all, the timing of sharing such truth was so not correct!

She should have told him before marriage (but then serial kaise hoti)

I dont buy that she told truth to Adi on first night as honest partner, rather when I watched that part I felt she was still giving last try to get away from marriage for Adu by telling Adi about her affair.

She wanted to avoid physical relationship with Adi hence all truth sharing n all. Pure selfishness with so called kharepanacha mukhvata...
