Sorry to nitpick, but I found these errors rather glaring.

Rewind to an epi featuring a meeting of Adi & Adu. Adi says to Adu 'We were des-tined to meet'

where 'tined' rhymes with 'fined'. Adu too responds with a similarly mispronounced 'des-tined'.

This is such a basic error that it boggles the mind that neither the director nor any crew member nor the actors caught it. It is not such an unusual word either. Adi *repeated this mistake* last week when he described Adu to Nana during their otherwise nice conversation.

In ELTG, I distinctly remember Om pronouncing 'sala-ried' where 'ried' rhymes with 'died'. Again, a shockingly glaring basic mistake in pronunciation that nobody caught.

Since we are discussing Marathi serials in English on these fora, I thought I should bring these up.

Agree with you... arrange marraige madhe muli / mulga premat nasel suddha kadachit... pan at least tyanchi pati kori asate and they are at least willing to get emotionally involved... unlike Meghana who was carrying a huge baggage and was not at all involved in the relationship emotionally...

They could just create some Babaji adesh where in Babaji will do something stupid to embarrass Adi and Meghana cuts all her ties with Babaji...

I agree Uday Tikkekar is a brilliant actor and all but I can't tolerate him anymore so this is my way of getting them out of the show lol

This forum is all about expressing our opinions and we respect differences of opinions better than the D-company 😆 So no offence taken.

As several of us have pointed out before, all your points would be acceptable/ reasonable had Mai been shown to be as immature as Archu or a fence-sitter like Vijaya. There is practically zero commonality between the characters of M1 & M2 and that's why her it's so hard to accept this avatar of hers.

You may recall she frequently scolded Archu (& even Vijaya a few times) when they were nasty and judgemental when dealing with Meg and here she is doing exactly that. More often than not, she sided with Meg even choosing her over Adi - so how can we accept 'mAjhyA mulAwar mAjhyA gharAt kuNI oraDlela malA chAlNAr nAhI'?

Arranged marriages are compromises by definition and here she is talking about Meg compromising to stay in her marriage? Does it even make sense?

Didn't she once say that "It's their problem, let them sort it out" - now why is this self-appointed Qazi creating problems when the Mian-Bibi are raazi?

I hope you get where we are coming from.

Mai always had a soft spot for Meghana as she has always felt that Meghana is total stranger to them unlike Vijaya so in a way she was over protective of Meghana same as Aditya... plus Adi is a little more ladaka because he being the shendephal...

Archu and Vijaya never really liked Meghana... they to some extend accepted Meghana due to Aditya...

marriage is always a compromise irrespective of love or arrange... but again one has to decide when, who and what is compromised...

Right now Mai is only in the role of a loving mother and she is not seeing anything beyond the hurt her darling Aditya gone through...

I understand whr you coming from... i m just trying to give you guys a little different view point...😉

Kahi vishisht paristhitimuLe tyanna arranged marriage karayala lagalela asta. Tari sudhdha, sahavasane, aaNi mukhya mhaNaje, partner chya vagaNyane ( sagaLe jar AD sarakhe wagale tar... 😛 ) haLu haLu prem paN basta, aaNi sansaar paN chan hoto.

One thing I like most about JYRG is that all D men value D ladies and treat them with respect and equality that they deserve. 👍🏼

I would have loved to see some career oriented lady in D house and adjustments and challenges in front of her and others in the joint family and how they cope up with it :)

Anyways, Peti is gone finally (better late than never they as they say)

Precap looks interesting where Archu finally realizes her mistake of opening personal thing of someone else in thr absence and seek apologies for the same.

Zoey, you asked when Peti is gone, and D house is already aware about Aditya Nagarkar, what's the use of bringing him back and whats the harm will he cause?

My guess, knowing such kinda truth and actually facing that reality are two different things. For Adi and D family it was Megh's past but they will definitely feel uncomfortable, insecure if AN comes back.

When Megh will gain back lost trust and respect in D house, then I think Aditya Nagarkar (AN) track will begin.

He may give insecurities to AD and later D family.

I hope they don't change him to villain but you never know, writers can do anything as they have done M1 to M2, they might do AN1 to AN2...

Also it might happen that something happens to AN and Megh feels guilty and tries to help him as a friend but that might create some ripples between Adi Megh, D family.
