One strong friction needs to happen between the parents...so it will all fall in place...everyone shares their side of the story...but in the end accepts how the couple maturely and truthfully accepted each other.

Somewhere they need to show Mai and others understanding Meghana by the words they mentioned in the past...with relation to Sawarde or AD's description of 'maza eka mitra cha asach zhalai- Adu'. That time Mai had said ki tya muliche jasta haal...prem nastana saunsaar karne! Sagala athava aani thandi dokyane vichar kara..mhanje AD-MD che adhi che aani attache manache haal kaltil sagalyana...aani plz koni tari AD la ek ghaaata mitthi mara yaar!!!!

Now that I've calmed down, I am willing to give this "navey valan" a chance. I am particularly keen to see how things change for the better and evolve. But like @zoey123 says, let's just hope the creatives don't stretch this track like a rubber band.

I too have a big problem with the portrayal of women in these daily soap dramas. By depicting them as nasty; biased and insensitive towards each other, these serials are indirectly promoting an unconscious & unfair stereotype about us women! 😔 I cringe every time Vijaya & Archu open their mouths to talk about Meghana. If JYRG wants to be different from your regular "saas-bahu" dramas, why not show us some sisterhood & a positive bond between Meghana-Vijaya-Archana?

Also, while I KIND OF understand their hurt and pain, I am not liking the treatment that's been meted out to Meghana by the D-house. I don't think she has done 'khoteypunna' of any sort, in fact quite the contrary. Meghana told Aditya everything about her and Adu Nagarkar as soon as she could. She couldn't have told him any earlier - there would've been no JYRG if she did! 😊 I've said it on the forum earlier but it bears repeating here...it was Aditya's decision to give Meghana the opportunity of making a choice about her future. He could've annulled their marriage, but being the decent chap that he is, he chose not to. And also because he had fallen hook, line and sinker for Meghana! 😊Now how exactly is this Meghana's fault? Okay, so yes, she was indeed aloof towards the Desais and kept herself to herself for months on end, but what else is expected of a girl who was coerced into a marriage? I wanted to scream the other day when Mai called Meghana muki bahuli - Hello Mai, please to meet Babaji! I still can't believe she said that despite knowing what Babaji is like. All hail character consistency! *rolls eyes*

Finally, so Mai is upset because her Babdyaa didn't confide in her. Fair enough. I get that - it's natural for a mother to feel that way. But Aditya, her son, is also his own person first and therefore has the freedom to resolve a personal matter on his own - the sooner Mai realises this, the better! 😊
