Janki is outside with the reporter. here ganya bumps into waakhnis and from him he comes to know there is a reporter outside interviewing janki. waakhnis is shocked and runs out and sees that the journo is asking janki about how the wedding came out to be and her love for rajan. before she could answer anything waakhnis comes and literally throws the reporter out from there. he then shouts at janki, when narshu is at the door and sees and hears everything. he is angry and warns waakhnis to mind his language and not to forget that he is talking to the elder DIL of the killedars. way to go narshu👏 just loved it when he defends janki and rebukes waakhnis. he tells janki to go inside.
janki is crying and aatyabai asks her what happened. she says i didn't tell anything to that fellow. narshu comes there and he is angry with aatya. he tells her my political career will finish due to janki's foolishness. aatya argues but narshu tells her henceforth she will not come with me to any of my rally or meetings. aatya asks then what will she do? he says raahu de tila tujhya padra khaali or samor, (i didn't get it) and let her live a sheltered life here. aatya tries to say something, but narshu silences her with a look and leaves.

rajan is being questioned by that insp. hey just what haalath they have done of the poor boy. mala hech kalath naahi, ki why doesn't narshu ask ki where is rajan, what has happened to him? how can he be so heartless? anyways, toh police vicharto ani rajan mhanto mi naahi kela khoon. finally rajan agrees to tell everything to the insp.
