Janki is getting ready to sleep. Here Narshu cannot sleep. he is restless and remembers aatyabai's words. he wants to drink water but there is no water in the jug. he goes to the kitchen. it is dark and when he opens the fridge door, the light falls on Janki's sleeping figure. He is shocked to see her lying on the floor. he kneels by her side and is about to touch her face, when she turns to thhe other side. he stops himself and is ashamed at what he was about to do. he goes from there. janki feels as if a shadow crossed her and she gets up. the fridge door is open. she closes it. here narshu goes out of the house. Ahilya sees him coming from the kitchen and going out and just then even Janki comes and she too goes till the main door, but returns back. Ahilya wickedly nods her head, (some wild thought is taking place in her head).
