Hello MKAPIANs,
MKAP has always struck me as a one-of-a-kind show. Because of the strong plot, fantastic characters, and Kriya's special and beautiful love story, it was the only show I had seen from beginning to end.
Season 1, referring to Hotstar was divided into sub-divisions (19 parts). Parts 1 to 6 were all about Krishna and how he fell in love with Pratigya, the test of love, the challenges, and finally how Pratigya fell in love with Krishna as well. So that's the Kriya love story in a nutshell. The rest of the sections saw Kriya unified and dealing with circumstances relating to other characters' tracks, as well as Kriya's separation and pregnancy, and we ended on a happier note with Kriya's family.
Season 2 continues the tale nine years later, and this time around we see Krishna's love for Garv . As in season 1, when Krishna first laid eyes on Pratigya, she became his entire universe. Similarly, Krishna's world has become holding his family together and saving Garv from the consequences of the unfortunate accident.
Krishna desired Pratigya no matter what it took, right or wrong. Krishna, too, wants Garv saved by every means possible, right or wrong.
At the start of the season 1, there was tension and animosity between Kriya. Pratigya despised Krishna, and there were misunderstandings between them. We've seen the hostility between Kriya resurface, and this is just the beginning; there's no longer any hatred, but there's an increasing sense of mistrust, this time around from Krishna's end.
In season 1, Pratigya was troubled by Krishna's approach to situations in an unlawful manner. Krishna has not improved in Season 2 either. He didn't really become a gentleman; he just never had to deal with a tough situation in the previous nine years I guess. It will be interesting to see how Pratigya tackles him reverting to his old self and how this will affect their relationship.
Except for Balwant's family, there aren't many side characters added yet. But it'll be interesting to see how the plot develops after the current track ends.
