Pandit Jasraj will give his music a rest, with his new role of an actor-narrator in the reality show Man Mein Hain Vishwas

The small screen will soon see Pandit Jasraj in an all new avatar. He now plays a narrator and an actor! One can witness him on Sony Entertainment Television's yet to be launched reality show, Man Mein Hain Vishwas, where he talks about how Lord Krishna appeared in his dream and instructed him to take up classical singing.
Says Jasraj, "It was sometime in 1946 when I had this vision of Lord Krishna as a little prince guiding me ahead in life. Much later, I was amazed to find a Krishna idol in a temple at Singapore, resembling the features, I saw in my dream. Again, some years ago, a kid came up to me after a performance and presented me with a painting of Krishna, the one I saw in Singapore. Earlier I had kept fasts for Ram and Hanuman, but these incidents brought me closer to Krishna as well. Who mujhe bahut pyaare lagte hain."
The director of the show, Dheeraj Kumar says, "Pandit Jasraj is one of our guests on this show where we invite people to share their divine experiences in life. We ask them to come forward and narrate the incidents to our viewers. Having Panditji on our show has been an honour and it was a pleasure interacting with him. The show begins with Panditji narrating his experiences as a 76-year old man. We then take off with a flashback where artistes enact Panditji's experiences as a young man. Panditji was little nervous on the first day as he had to listen to the technicians and shoot in a studio."
Commenting on how he came up with the unique concept, Dheeraj adds, "My wife Zuby and I wanted to make a show where we could instill trust in those who have lost faith in the existence of God. For if you lose your money or your friends you have lost something, but if you lose faith in God, then you have lost everything in life."
