Mamta looks at simran, akshay looks shocked… bua asks her to break the bangels, mamta helplessly says - mummyji, no, please no… bus holds her hand tighter and says that your husband is dead, what will u do with this sindoor and bangles, all your colors are gone with your husband, she hangs her hang and wipes off the sindoor, mamta cries helplessly… bua calmly says that god should give her strength… she remove a red saree and says that for three days she has to wear this, and on sid's fourth day, she will have to wear white clothes for the rest of her lfie… akshay get upset… he watches all this helplessly (great acting by him) bua adds that someone from her mom's side will get the white dress, bulbul says that she has no one, bua says that she'll get it, she sends her in.. akshay looks too helplessly…
Later mamta wears the dress and comes out… vandana apologizes that b/c she insisted for their marriege and she is seeing this day now… mamta says that its fate, and they should not blame each other… the hug each other and cry a lot… vandana says that she is her daughter now her daughter in law… vandana and simran go in… mamta thinks tht for the rest of her life, she will be sid's widow…
Later, mamta puts krish to sleep, simran goes to mamta and says that she must be happy, anyone lives or dies, why will she care… she can meet her lover now… mamta asks her to stop, she adds that she wont understand her and sid's relationship… how pure it was, simran angrily asks her to stop, as she killed Sid, sid didn't die thru an accident, but she killed him, and she wont forgive him for this… mamta cries…
Later akshay thinks about the bangle breaking ceromany…. He thinks that how come all of this happened… he's forgotten to eat, drink sleep after that… its seems like he is so away from her….
Later mamta looks for krish's jacket, and wonders that she left it in sid's cupboard, she opens the closet and finds sid's lawyer jacket, and remembers when sid came to help her with the case, she thinks that who can tell that sid is gone… she cries a little… she then finds a diary… she opens it and it has a pic of sid in it… she touches the picture and cires…. She flips the pages of the diary and reads where he had written about his mom, how much he loves her, how much he wants her to be happy…. Mamta cries and wonders what will happen… later she goes in the gallery and thinks about the time when sid took her hand and put it on akshay's hand… she remembers the whole scene… mamta wonders when the troubles will end… akshay comes there and goes to her… and asks her how she is, she just turns back and sees him, he asks where krish is, mamta says that he is sleeping… akshay asks him what has she thought about the future.. Mamta says that its sid's chautha tomorrow, and… akshay says that he knows how troubled she is, unfortunately sid is not around, that's why he asked her… mamta says that her future is decided, she will sid's widow for the rest of her life… akshay protests, mamta adds that they know the truth, but not the world, akshay says that stop using the word WIDOW… and till when will she be like this? 5 years? 10 years? 20 years? Mamta cries a little.. Akshay says sorry, but he cant see her like this… mamta says that its vandana's medicine time.. She has to go,,, mamta cries a lot then, saying that she cant give so much to vandana, and says Sorry… and leaves… simran there hears everything… she goes in…
Akshay wonders what to do, no one in this house will even let her to talk to him… he goes down… simran stands there, and ass if he is here to meet mamta, he is too happy to see mamta, he can now see mamta any time… akshay thinks that she might have heard everything… simran says that mamta is the reason sid died, and he should stop explaining mamta that she is not sid's widow, b/c she will see to it that mamta pays for her dues, she will live as a widow reast of her life……. She leaves.. Akshay thinks that now only God can do anything… we see the temple, god's idol, and a bhajan in the back ground, akshay holds krish's picture and thinks that he must do something, he has to bring krish and mamta in the house, (more shots of the temple)
