This was not a simple case of amnesia. Two-year-old Krish, the child star of Mamta, was so involved with his role and his on-screen mother that he failed to recognise his real-life mother when she paid him a surprise visit on the sets. Krish plays actress Preeti Puri's son with conviction in Mamta.

Krish is a popular kid on the sets and has everyone pampering him. But recently, the little devil was so baffled to see his mother on the sets, that he simply overlooked her. To add to his bafflement, both his on-screen and off-screen mothers are called Preeti. He was affectionately teased by all unit members as a result, all of who kept asking him the names of his on-screen and off-screen mothers. The toddler who is otherwise so full of sass, was tongue-tied for a change.
