After watching today’s episode I feel the same as you (in bold). In that process both Ashish and Nandini will butt heads against each other in court to gain custody— might even get divorced. Judge will ask Nandish where and with whom he wants to stay and he will say Maitree.. Vasundara will argue that Maitree is single and should not be the legal guardian.. Ashish and Maitree will decide to marry so Nandish will have a complete family and for the judge to give Nandish to his father

I wish this happens yaar..Nandu thinks that maitree betrayed her.. I feel v bad for nandini, the way she questioned ashish was v valid..

But she doesn't know entire legal battle, arrest and ashish etc.,

Iam happy that she isnt shown as a negative character.

Nandini’s reaction is not wrong. The way she’s facing rejection from her son will make anyone feel uncomfortable and question the integrity of the person taking care of the child.. in this case Maitree. If Maitree was not in the picture and it was just other family members then this attitude of her child would not have pinched her so much.. because she’s been brainwashed so much that even the smallest of gestures from Maitree is raising suspicions in Nandu’s mind. She has made up her mind to hate Maitree— and the child’s behavior is not helping in this case. I feel bad for Nandu more than Maitree to be honest. Maitree should have involved other family members in bringing Nandish up.. she’s deprived other members of the family by taking the sole responsibility of the child— and now the child won’t look at anyone without Maitree’s permission… She took this caring for the child to an extreme level where it will be hard for the child, the mother and of course Maitree

Vasundhara is moving her cards v well. If nandish was well informed that her mother is returning,he wudnt hv behaved in this manner.

Upar se sona dadi is keeping on taunting maitree which is making him hate his mother.

If nandu treats maitree as her best friend she can v well and speak abt her insecurities. Thats what friends are for,they dont judge u also.

Maitree is her bachpan ka dost, so without any inhibitions she can question her like she is doing with ashish.

No idea why is she not venting out her frustration on maitree.

When nandini stops maitree in today's episode, nandish started became at least friend to her ..that's a good sign. See that time maitree's reaction she's very happy that if nandish starts love his mother. Maitree is a pure soul.

Her friend was in coma ..she didn't want anything bad to happen with the baby . She hadn't any single bad intention by bringing up the child.

Even..We all saw that baby was comfortable with maitree only since the beginning . Then how can she leave him?

Honestly i feed bad 1000 times for maitree than nandini. Everyone deserves a friend like her.

Nandini should give nandish some time. He'll surly accept her. But expecting everything sudden is wrong here.

Maitree will help her. At least she should understand her in today's episode.

When nandish ask nandini to friend with him..maitree's reaction.. happiness in her eyes is so pure . At least nandini should see that.

Definitely we all need a friend like Maitree but not everyone deserves a selfless friend like her if you have trust issues. You can tell that Nandu does not love Maitree the way Maitree loves her. My only issue here is that it’s been very obvious from the get go that Maitree wanted to protect her friends child at every cost but she herself said that Tiwari family is where the baby will get the love of family and not with Vasundara. Being a best friend and taking responsibilities of a baby was not her only purpose here— she should have let others enjoy the happiness of a child which she didn’t and exactly why Sona Tai is always angry with her. Why did she choose Tiwari family when she could very well lived with Nandu so both mom and baby could live together and have that bonding? She chose them because she trusted that family will provide the child with the love and upbringing he deserves yet she did not trust anyone from that family with Nandu’s son. In every episode there are hints that Maitree just took over everything and other family members have been deprived.. even Ashish’s parents who were on Maitree’s side have sour feelings for her now. Being overly possessive about the child and not really communicating well with the child that he has only one mom and that Maitree is really her aunt would have saved the child from all this confusion. She should not have added the angle that she is also her mom and associate it with the story of Kanhanji’s life. Nandini’s reaction that Maitree did not let her child know that he has only one mom is not incorrect or out of line. In the episodes when the child says negative things about Nandu neither Maitree nor Ashish correct it. I understand it’s how the story should shape to add two ladies fighting over a child drama but my brain trying to find logic here is truly speaking from that perspective :)

Are they showing anything about maitree's event management company since the pre-leap episodes mostly revolved around that? I am currently not watching the episodes so I wanna know if they are still showing her a career oriented women, even though I have no expectations from itv for showing anything besides drama after some initial episodes👎🏼

There was just one small scene where she was talking about some event right before Nandish’s birthday party but nothing since. Just the usual tane bazi from Sona Tai and people constantly pointing fingers at Ashish and Maitree relationship. There was one guy who Maitree went to meet as a prospective groom where Ashish comes for literally 30 secs and that guy starts non-sense like “are you just taking care of the kid or sharing a room with the dad too”. I mean who says all that in their first meeting just a little kid Maitree? Like who? That was so uncalled, out of place and totally random scene. I’m watching it really for the TRP’s yaar. I love the actors of this show and I want this show to run for a long time because the actors are doing a fabulous job— just the story needs a good grip but it’s getting there I feel

Thanx for the update 👍🏼I saw the prospective groom scene on zeetv's twitter account. I liked the scene only in the case of maitree taking stand for herself but I kinda figured that it was just a random scene which didn't match the flow of the story
