Wat I feel is he chose shikha as she is simple, sweet and vulnerable.. Although she gets to know his real name instead of suspecting him she takes it as a joke which means she trusts him blindly and is unaware of his real intentions

Another reason cud be there must b some sort of property under her name which cud be his once they consummate.. thats y i guess he pushes her down the cliff after they have a baby.. and manav cud b the son born to them!!!

Mannn this suspense is killing me.. i want the track to move forward fast and show us the changed Shikha who comes back in a new avatar 😃..

I feel the girl on the other side cud b shikha's sis or someone known to her..like cud b pooja as well..

I think Sameer comes from a rich family and there is some will stipulation that all property goes to the grandchild or something like that.

And Sameer has a girlfriend whom he loves and wants to marry but unfortunately she can't conceive, so all this plan to marry another girl, have a kid and conveniently finish her off.

Now why Shikha? Maybe coz she's from a middle class family with simple background, someone whose family will not be able to go to the ultimate extent to get to the truth of the matter and accept things simply?

Or maybe coz Mahi is the girl whom Sameer loves but Mahi can't conceive so she conveniently sets her sister up?

I think story is somewhere along this line...
