The way inspector was giving conduct certificate to Sameer and he esp. calling Shikha's father for saying that he too finds Sameer to be clean and no dirts in his past or watsoever seemed fishy. It was as though the inspector was trying to convince Mr.Gupta that he cud marry off his daughter to Sameer as he is clean and all. Maybe inspector is Sameer's frnd and involved in plan too.
