Now about Purva, I found her fishy after yesterday's episode, itself. I have been trying to understand her POV ever since she came to know about Lakshmi's dream and started judging her as a gold digger. But yesterday, I couldn't come up with any excuse for her behavior. She says she is Arjun's friend but does she act like one? When RV asked her about Arjun and their Ram Sagar trip, she could have just said that the trip managed to prove that they cannot be more than friends and getting married was out of the question. She didn't need to mention Lakshmi at all. But what the girl said was "I really like Arjun but he doesn't love me. He loves someone else. I want him to be happy, so please don't force him." It was like a red flag to the bull. Please don't force him? She actually meant, FORCE HIM! She is not as innocent as she is trying to paint herself. She sounds very condescending when she talks about Lakshmi, her family, her status. She still doesn't trust Lakshmi and believes that Arjun is better off without her.

The way she narrated the story, any dad would take objection to the girl. She painted Lakshmi the gold digger, yet again. But where she'd failed to brain wash Arjun and Dadi, she managed to win with Arjun's dad. The girl is very smart. I bet she is agreeing and congratulating herself on the inside, even as she pretends to grimace and gasp in dismay on all of the insults/comparisons that Arjun's dad was heaping on Lakshmi.

About Arjun's dad. Although I understand where he is coming from, I can't excuse his decision to hash out this discussion in front of Purva. All things said and done, she is still an outsider. I could actually feel the discomfort and the embarrassment that Arjun's mom and Dadi were portraying during the whole conversation, due to her presence. But am glad that at least something good came out of it. Purva and Arjun's friendship is officially over.🥳 I can't get over the looks that Arjun gave Purva for tattling. 🤣 They were so awesome. The insults that Arjun's dad meted out to Lakshmi were harsh but understandable. Am glad that Arjun stood up for his love. And you know it's kinda funny that Arjun's dad used the same words to describe Arjun's love for Lakshmi that Arjun himself did to describe Lakshmi's love for Arjun Agnihotri(during the mandir confession). 🤣

BTW what's with Bua and calling Arjun as Ajayji? 🤣 Does she call Saraswati's husband as ji too? 🤣 And was the ArMi scene cute or what?😍 They are adorable, though, the "Aeji, Suniye ji" line was sooo cheesy 🤣 I dunno if I have mentioned this but I find the little gestures, beautiful. Like Lakshmi grabbing Arjun's arm when walking, or feeding him a spoonful of dessert or a golgappa. It shows that she loves and cares for him, far more than words like "I Love You..someday you will realize it." that Purva keeps uttering. That girl has never shown any care for Arjun so far. When Arjun was miserable after Lakshmi's rejection, she tried to rub his nose in it. When he was hurt at the hotel during their trip, she didn't run towards him and ask to see his injury, madam strolled off to get meds. Whereas Lakshmi ran to him and treated his injury with what remedies she had. When Arjun was starving and unable to eat food due to his injury, it was Lakshmi who cooked and fed him. Purva was busy eating at that time, while Lakshmi couldn't even think about eating before feeding Arjun. That same night, Purva didn't even check if Arjun was cold or if he had a place to sleep. It was Lakshmi who shared the blanket with him.

In my books, these comparisons weight heavier than the flimsy ones Arjun's dad used. These comparisons matter, his don't. And guess who emerges the winner in these? 😆

Know, what I found ironic? Arjun saying he doesn't lie 🤣 The guy is literally swimming in lies with Lakshmi.

Whew. 🤣 Better stop writing. Looking forward to see how Arjun is going to sort this out.

yaar I try to keep it Ajay when I talk about him with Laxmi and Arjun when with his family there is so much confusion.. 😆😆

Okay you are bang on that annoyed me how can they talk about such an important and sensitive issue in front of Purva but then when we look at it from their perspective she is Arjun's childhood friend they treat her like a member of the family hence their acceptance of her presence.. also they needed her to complete the fathers lecture and comparisons..

Oh there is no doubt as to Purva's intentions if she truly wanted ArMi to be together she would never have stated I love him but he loves someone else that is like saying he is going against your decision force him to marry me since I refuse to look bad in his eyes..the best part had to be the looks Dadi and Arjun were giving Purva during the confrontation I loved how A was aware of who would go behind his back and tell his father everything... hence his statement of if Purva told you this you should also know Laxmi chose Ajay .. how conveniently she overlooked that fact.. and I was annoyed at her emphasis on Laxmis financial condition.. what makes her think wealth makes her superior in comparison.. she did not even have the decency to care for his wounds.. or his emotions when she forced Laxmi to propose to the fake Arjun..

And the looks Purva was giving it was so obvious she was thinking Yes I am better then Laxmi.. her little tactics are not going to work here.. the father was a hurdle anyways but Arjun is not about to give up his love that easily..

hey binny... i am sorry.. i am not able to like ur post... like button is not working... i knew that purva wont give up so easily... she's not one of the girls who would sit quiet and let everything fall into place... she was very content in belittling laxmi in front of RV while she was acting all shocked, dismayed during the comparisons... i had no doubt that arjun will fight for his love.. the man who was willing to give up his life for the love of his life... woh khamokha daar jaayega... when his dad comes into the pic?? and plus daadi also is there to support him... ⭐️

i dont dislike RV agnihotri bcoz he's not bad at heart... u see he was very impressed by saraswati in the car that day... even when she told him that she lives in a basti he was not cringing with disgust... he was given a very bad opinion about laxmi... hence the outrage on arjun's choice... while purva...😡 never mind...🤢well lets see how arjun will manage to change his father's opinion about laxmi...
