It was a nice touch in the beginning. Mahi's mom is her biggest fan and keeps all of her advice columns and pictures together in a folder. How cute is that.

But why is she so rude to Mahi otherwise? Mahi said that she is afraid of telling her thinking she wouldn't believe her. But if she wasn't so rude in the first place, maybe Mahi would believe her.

I liked the concept of today's episode... funny how less we truly know the people that are close to us, We live our lives on assumptions but never realize the most important things in life... Like Mahi has still not understood Shiv.😔

i just watched part 1 of the epi but omg i loveddd the part about mahi's mom! some moms i guess are just rude to their children maybe in the hopes that they would overcome their faults and try to get better?

i had tears in my eyes when i saw tht...i went awwwwwwww...
its true a mother's decision can be wrong but her love for her child will always be right
maybe mahi's mom calls her loser n all tht but she loves her the most at the same time for sure...shooo shweet...i was wondering how mahi knows all tht lol

the whole thing with her mom caught me completely by surprise ..... I would have never pegged her mother as secretly being Mahi's fan 😲

but then I guess we're toughest on the ones we love😳 ..... but I wish she'd be tougher in a way that isn't so downright mean and insulting to Mahi 😕

I too became all awwies when I saw that scene. After all the attiitude we've seen from Mahi's mum, who wouldn't melt in seeing her secretly admire Mahi?

But why she does does it in secret is the question. I think it's because she's not too big of a fan of her looks. Mahi's not the super model she once aspired to be herself and with her not turning out like the standards Anjali has set, well, of course Mummy ji isn't going to be too happy. Plus the woman is firery, she's opinionated and bossy - these people have a different way of showing love. It's all beautifully psychological.

But family is family, especially when it's about your own kids. How long can you hate them before your initial love takes over?
