Shiv has only entered just now.. let's give him some more shots and slowly but surely we'll get to know him..

I completely agree with you on the perfection part.. they always have shown shiv nice.. but maybe that is his nature.. know what I mean.. Have you ever met a person who is just way too nice in this mean mean world?? I have, so i totally get it.
But see..his niceness does make him not so perfect cuz being way too nice isn't great either.. If some day, and am hoping not, Ishaan gets all apologetic to Mahi and she goes back to him.. I am pretty sure Shiv won't try and stop her cuz he just wants her to be happy.
He won't tell her a damn thing about how he feels cuz he is way too nice to put Mahi in such an awkward position. So having a guy who does not really go after his love isn't all that perfect.. is it?
If you disagree pleaaaaaaaaaaaseeeee do tell me cuz i'd love to know your opinion on it. It's a real great topic!

Interesting topic!

Well, if we see from Mahi's point of view, Shiv's "imperfection" probably lies in the fact that he is "boring" as a person and not "sizzling" to look at. I do see what you are hinting at when you say that you want to see the other side of Shiv as well i.e. his insecurities, his past etc., but that might come later like everyone is saying , as of now, I don't think Shiv is behaving too perfectly though, he'd have been unrealistic had he stopped all his work only to mark job openings for Mahi the whole day or had pretended to have enjoyed watching DDLJ for Mahi's sake or had said that he is also not fond of his "boring" ways, instead Shiv is happy with the way he is and he obviously doesn't have any problem with that , he makes no bones about the fact that he is different from Mahi in every way and doesn't regret it even though she isn't exactly fond of his type of personality which makes him very realistic IMO. Right now, I think Shiv is just being a very very good friend to Mahi in her hour of need, I mean when I am feeling low and devastated, the last thing I would want is my friend coming to me and showing his/her insecurities or "gray side" especially when he/she does not seem to be going through a bad phase like me........

Please don't get me wrong, I love Shiv and always have. He is the guy every girl dreams of, a perfect gentleman, a great listener, so understanding and lovingly caring! But I also believe that there is no such thing as perfection. We are all human beings, and as much as we hope we will get such perfect partners, they don't exist!
i know there is no such thing like perfection but you see good human beings realy exist 😉 and I'm glad that YRF gave us Mahi, a female protagonist who for once isn't perfect, who has her fears and shortcomings. That's what i mean ,like mahi shiv may also have his fears and shortcomings but he is a good human being or better to say a good boy😉

Shiv is a great guy, but so far we have only seen his greatness. Not even once have we seen anything wrong or bad at all. That, to me at least, seems a bit unreal. There has to be one bad habit in Shiv or one mistake he has made in the past...people can be like that ........at least girls.....boys ka pata nahi or at least one weakness, shortcoming?ya he can have weakness, what's wrong in that, after all no body is perfect

I sincerely hope that in the coming episodes we see something about Shiv that brings him closer to reality. (The way Viraf portrays Shiv makes us fall in love with him instantly, but so far he has been a static character, I want to see a dynamic Shiv). Mahi has opened up in front of him, and I hope soon she will give him a chance to talk about his past, his habits too. This is important because I don't want Mahi to fall in love with the perfect Shiv... I want her to fall in love with Shiv who has his own issues but accept him in spite of or actually with them... Just like Shiv has.

well don't tell me you want to see shiv as a bad guy ..and Mahi will love Shiv what he is.......for not wearing right kind of shoes......for not being like Ishan.......
we think of Shiv as perfect but for mahi shiv is not what he wanted his guy to be so,i think if she loves Shiv as what he is now then it would be genuine love

I LOOOOOVVVVVEEEEE Shiv. After last week of how he was supporting Mahi throughout the party, I got all dreamy about him. 😍

But like you said, are there perfectly perfect men out there like Shiv? Cause if not, they need to show something about Shiv thats not just so perfect about him. I mean, like maybe a little flaw or something becuase everyone has the tinest of tiny flaw in them. 😳

I want them to show more of shiv's personal life tp prove he is what he appears to be😊

Yeah, and now that we see more of him, hopefully we will see his personality develop. I still consider him a very genuine and perfect guy because of what he did even in those few moments. And it's not lending a sympathetic ear to her na? He was always kind to her even when she was rude and he didn't know she was "his" Mahi. Not everyone does that. He always tried to help her even when she didn't care... and now he's proving to be a brilliant friend! What else can we ask in a guy? 😉

ha i guess his weakness is his shoes🤣 mahi must accept him in his converse shoes🤣

i guess more of shivs problems will b shown as soon as mahi gets out of this troublesome time or else both of them in problem and noone to support them will b the scene.or roshni wil hv to leav nikhil and sid will hv to stop GAyifing and take care of mahi and shiv[8D

Thanks, Tanu! 🤗

His shoes? Thode boring hain na? 😆😆😆 Poor him! But yeah, I agree, in these harsh times for Mahi she needs a strong friend and at this time Shiv can't reveal his fears.

I guess till now there has been no scope for showing the negative points in the character of Shiv.

I'm certain we will see the the weaker side of Shiv as the Shiv-
Mahi relationship progresses.

That is SO what I want to see. I don't want to see a one-sided relationship where Shiv's doing all what he can for Mahi and Mahi is busy crying in his arms. We already have too many such pairs on television. I want them BOTH to share their problems and solve them mutually

Even worse, I don't want her to take advantage of his kindness. In these emotional times, she's bonding with Shiv, but what if Ishan decides to return? Will she just go back to him and forget her friends all over again? I don't know... I don't want that to happen. I hope when Ishan comes back, Mahi doesn't start ignoring Shiv like she always did before the breakup.

I agree with you, I guess I'm skeptical because I haven't seen such a nice person in my life yet.

But I think the opposite. I think Shiv will really be perfect if he clears off Mahi's way and lets her decide. I want him to still support Mahi to listen to her heart and if that means going back to Ishan then so be it. She shouldn't go to Shiv because she wants to pay back the favors he has done so far.. she should go to him because she truly loves him. So if Shiv doesn't tell Mahi to save her from a rough situation would again mean that he is sacrificing his happiness for her... which is perfect.

A very interesting take on the situation! I do get your point, and agree that some of the things/situations currently do make Shiv 'real.' And I agree that now when Mahi is devastated she needs a strong friend... so it makes total sense why we are not seeing any flaws/discussions about Shiv's past right now. Let's hope in future, his character will be developed more.

No, I do not want Shiv to be a bad guy. What I meant with grey shade is to see some flaws in him... some fears, some weaknesses. I don't think there should be any negative elements to him.

Yes, I completely agree with your point that if Mahi falls in love with Shiv then it will be true and genuine as he is not close to what her dream guy was like... in fact she considers him quite boring...
