the garudas stand by each other and look out for each other
So we have a touching moment when Kat misses Charles

And then Shiva goes up to her and comforts her

We also have Rudra going back for thapadiya Mai,

Even though the open door beckons them

for garudas to leave one of their own behind

Is not even an option

Once again a stark contrast to danshs lack of any empathy for Leela

Thapadiya Mai and garudas had more concern for her loss

Than her so called boyfriend ...

We also came to know what ashwathama had said to Rudra

That both nagas and garudas are needed for Amrit

The maze of illusions was well done

The raging inferno

The closing walls

The disappearing door -

Hats off the SFX team!!!!

A good fast paced exciting episode,

With some nice soft moments

Aaj ke episode ko toh 8/10 dena padega!

Damdaar tha,mazedaar tha

@Arshics I loved the epi. It was a beauty in technical front, but it has more inner meanings. My takes
- Maya and Maya ruled the epi. It was all about Maya. Nothing is same. Dansh seems to be with Garuds but he has ulterior motives. Kat is coming for her duty, but her need to live is diminished. Does Mai has the strength to survive through the maze. It is the second time she is falling under rocks. Rudra seems all in duty, but then going back for Mai when the door is open and again stopping Bali from killing Dansh in the precap he shows his emotional vulnerability. Leela seems to be with Dansh, but her heart is already with Rudra. Shiva seems to know everything but then as usual lacks action.
So Maya still binds the team with the layers needed to peel of at crucial times
- Now coming to the closed doors. They showed each door closing the team trying to find another door. Garuds and Nagas going in 2 paths. Both reaching the same door. But when they try to open the door again illusion. It was testing the intention. Garuds waited for Nagas. But if Nagas had come they would have gone without waiting for Garuds. But then it turns out to be illusion. Competing with each other is just an illusion or Maya. Whichever path you take , short cut or long cut the feeling of victory or beating other is just an illusion. Only a team that works together reaches the destination, not the one in which each individual think they can win the race alone.
- Open door with a tough choice. Whether to go into it or get hold of your team member who is missing. Empathy or duty. Logic or conscience. If you see here both Shiva and Rudra takes the same stance. They cannot go without Mai. Rudra goes for conscience. Open door awaits the team. Again as Shiva tells it is an illusion. Any easy path is an illusion. There will be something beyond it which you will encounter only when you reach it. Similarly if something is coming to you without any effort, always there is something else that's difficult associated with it. So easy path beware.
Whole epi is for rising above illusion, and it was a complete play of Maya which I would say well done.

I loved this post a lot . You have put meaning to a seemingly hopeless episode. I appreciate and admire your efforts to explain the episode. 👏
I think you should have been in the show as a narrator/ Sutradhar😛

If this is what the CVs have to say in the story them they should have written some dialogues for the characters rather than showing them running here and there. Or as I said a Sutradhar is needed who will give some idea of what is happening.

I should read your post first then see the episode from next week.
Ye bhi ek Maya hi hai ki jyada kuch na samajhne ke bawajud mai ye show dekhati hu😳

@seedibaat I got the idea to explain the epi based on Dansh dialogue in yesterday epi and a little pondering over the story of Mahabali. Dansh says opening the lock of Bali's brain or breaking Bali's test is a difficult task. So what will Bali test. Infact what bought Bali in the present situation.
If you look at the Vamana- Mahabali story you will know Maya or illusion did Bali in. He was unable to gauge who the little boy asking for 3 feet was. if he didn't know, he ignored the warning the of his guru also. It was the self righteous attitude and ego which couldn't sense the Maya bought Bali in this situation.
So he knows all of human weakness which can be tested using Maya or illusion. Only a selfless person with spiritual knowledge and true to their conscience can rise above Maya or see the truth behind the veil. Only they can break the maze of Bali's Maya.
So if they have to pass through the maze they have to let go of all the things that allow Maya. Ego, selfishness, hatred, treachery, loss everything has to go if they have to go through that door. And the situation is testing them on these aspects.
Then one more thing, I have been analyzing MK from beginning right. Especially Maya. So it is kind of easy to place the blocks as per the epi as I have laid the foundation of analysis. Problem with MK is that you cant understand the story unless you have been continuously analyzing it or putting meaning to it. I am not talking about the countless bloopers CVs made. But then MK did have a lot of epi with deep meaning from beginning itself.
Actually I feel what the team could have done better would have been along with the summarized epi for Friday or at the end of each epi they could have written something that will depict the whole meaning of the epi. It would have really helped the viewers to better appreciate the concept and content.

Shrugging, thanks again for the enlightening post on the episode, after reading your post, I too could realize the Maya.

Yes, in vaman avatar, Bali was taken in by the tiny roop of vaman, and in his arrogance agreed to the simple demand of vaman, only to realize later.

So, I think Shivas statement that if it looks simple, there's some problem ahead is true, and thanks to you, now I realize that this deception was rightfully placed on second door, for it was deception that was responsible for Balis undoing.

Thinking back, Charles's moksha due to his good karma was also shown maybe because ashwathama has still not got his moksha because of his karmas.

Yes Arshics for each door we have to understand the mythology story to some extent and connect it is what I feel.
Yes agree to you. Charles getting Moksha was because he was so willing to give, while Aswathama was hell bent on taking. Even I didn't think about Charles death in that aspect. I don't know I love this forum. One post and many others bring many other perspectives and lock of knowledge simply opens to the readers.

Great post Arshi, and greater analysis by Shruti. The in depth thinking sure helps in understanding the story better.

From what I understand the 7 dwar with 7 chiranjeevis guarding it is a way of teaching us humans the true moksha ka marg. These yodhas have not gained moksha due to some short falling. The end, the Amrit is moksha. Each dwar is meant to help us get rid of whatever qualities we may have, Good or bad, so that when we reach our final destination we are completely free of all worldly bondages.

I used to always wonder why Lord had to kill Bali who was such a benevolent king. I guess being self righteous, charitable etc. made him egoistic.

The way I looked at Charles getting moksha was that he was able to be detach himself from the world just like that. Infact he was the perfect human for me because he was never attached to anything.

Beautiful beautiful interpretation by you Aparna. Today Shruthi and you revived once again the main reason why this show had attracted me!

Yes, the 7 dwars can be our 7 vices, or seven deadly sins, they can also mean the seven janams we have to take before we get moksha, and what are these 7 janams but 7 phases of our life that we go through in our lifetime!
