I agree with the length of the scene of Shivanand's mental imbalance shown. I was wondering how long he was in Nag capitivity and how much poison is been administered which turned him into total schizophrenic state.😊 in few days

I am guessing he was in Nag captivity for a week or so. I found it odd to see drastic changes of personality in SHORT period of time. 😡 Shivanand survived 24 years in Poland torture with healthy mind on return and gets completely broken down in few days in Nag captivity. MB says it will take long time to heal😲

Digging tunnel conversation reminded me of Sholey dialogue where Jai and Veeru purposely say they will dig a tunnel in the Jail. 😃

Its getting harder to connect to the show with every passing episode. Many would say the story has not deviated from the main topic of Amrut , I feel its no way near either after 77 episodes.
The comparison of this show can not be with any other show but first half of the show and second half of the show. Handling has flipped completely. 😡
In my opinion 22-24 min episode is failing to generate any entertainment or philosophy🤢

I quite agree with you about @blue. It is distinctly odd. In fact, I am beginning to wonder if the writers have really worked this script down to the end, or are improvising of late. It is all getting to be so chaotic.

Do see the expanded version of this post on page 2 of my latest thread. There are some additional points there that might interest you.

The Sholay comparison is amusing, but here of course Drish is serious!😉

@seedibaat the main difference with polish gang and Nagas are Polish gang did physical torture. They didn't play with Shiva's emotions. Whereas Nagas did exactly that. Attack is on the mind, they created a real bad illusion that Rudra is in their custody.
Understand that Rudra is there was Shiva's biggest faith. He himself tells to Rudra it was the need to meet his child that made him sustain the torture of 24 years, not exactly child but Garud Pramukh.
Even with Dansh Shiva proclaims Rudra will come between him and Amrit. It is that confidence Dansh broke with a captured Rudra. For Shiva, if Rudra is not there then the whole purpose of his life is gone. All the knowledge he has gained is of no use if Rudra is killed, maimed or end up in captivity.
It is also a lesson to him and also to viewer's, there is no point having knowledge but right action at the right time matters. After the first attack by polish gang he should have known the risks involved with Rudra. Should have taken firm action to protect him and guide him in the first place than allow him take decision of his own when he was not prepared to take them.
Emotions, emotions are Garud's weakness and Rudra and Charles are the weakest Garuds who run on emotions. What Greyson told is turning out to be true. There will be 2 weaker Garuds. And indeed Rudra and Charles are turning out to be just that at this point. Rudra takes one decision and without discussing with him Charles take another decision. Garuda Pramukh and his right hand at 2 ends. What else do you need.
Only way to come out of it is to use the emotion to the fullest extent to face one's own extinction or verge of extinction. That alone, failed kind of feeling.
Our Rudra has not yet got that feeling. Always he has been supported by someone. First udiya Baba, then Maimui, Dadi, Ganga, punnu, Maya, Charles. There has to a be a point where he has to be alone facing the consequences of his emotional actions.
I know script will show it, but I am afraid that moment will be glossed over for TRP aunty because that moment has to be presented in all its glory, that failure with nothing more could be done and Dansh and co laughing mercilessly. For all the torture they have fed me, I don't want them to gloss over the failure scene. I want it with full intensity

There are quite a few things off-putting about MK now...
1. The torture & violence are too in-your-face for me

2. Rudr's been dumbed-down - what with his fit-for-purpose?!! outfit, and his incredible naivete combined with unrelieved pigheadedness, he is now positioned as bahu-type eye-candy more than action-hero

3. Loose writing - the storey is more confusing than intriguing; ... there's no satisfaction in confusion!

The pros are actors and sets and props/visuals but all of that is being laid to waste by #3 above...😡

So true Happy, the writing has become very weak. Rudras character has been made so confused, and wavering, he also doesn't take his people along .

One thing that has always bothered me, and yesterday annoyed me big time was that Bhairavi is Rudras personal consultant and doesn't spend any time with the other Garudas.

And last night she also seems to have caught the lets-not-tell-anyone poison, why would she not explain that shiva has been poisoned and the poison may spread to others?

This gopi bahu syndrome to keeping things to yourself had afflicted Rudra first and now has passed on to maimui also?

Shiva has been through so much. Loved MB today. She was the sole Garud who knew what a catastrophe Shiva's blue Garud chinn is. All the rest of the Garuds - Wish they had more brains than emotions. At times its very difficult to accept the good winning over evil just because niyati wanit that way. Why not the concept that only those who help themselves would get the required help to go with it. Am tired of these emotional Garuds who have no idea of the dangers to cross and have not an ounce of pro-activeness.. Guess Rudra really is the weakest link or so it seems as of now.

I don't know Kitsin, the writers seem to have taken the Garudas brain is injured a bit too far. Now the whole lot can't even put 2 and 2 together to make 4.

They just stand around looking lost and make random statements.

To them the danger doesn't seem imminent and they are acting as if they just have to be together and magically they will save the Kalash, the nagas on the other hand are preparing for a war, full scale.

Even after having such violent encounters with the nagas which the Garudas have not really won successfully, they seem to have no clue of the might and the preparedness of the army.

Rudra is coming out to be the weakest link... The writing is really weak

@ Arshi - When one knows that there is going to be a full scaled war, then at the very least some preparations are done. Here the Garud camp has only Shiva's 24 year old lab and the Saraswati kund. They have made no preparations otherwise. Prof. Rao and Tiwari could have done a better job than being solely dependent on Shiva who they never realized was kidnapped for 24 years. You are right the script has too many loopholes. The Garuds if they were better prepared and then lost the war would have been a better scenario than seeing this clueless and disorganised team, who have an organised enemy to fight with no preparations whatsoever.

So true, it would've so much more sensible if we saw the Garudas sitting together and strategizing, and planning, instead we get senseless statements like - humain to abhi tak apni shaktiyon ka bhi pata nahi hai - so why are they not focusing on finding their own strengths? Why are they not trying at their level to understand the books.

They are sitting haath pe haath dhare for shiva to tell them everything

Wahan nagraj apni team ko sirf orders deta hai, yahan Garuda Pramukh apni team se koi baat hi nahi karta...

Hi Shruti
I would like to say Shivanand's torture in Naga caves is more of drug induced torture which made him unable to think or retaliate physically.

Since there is no mention of time he spent in captivity in the show I am guessing its less than 1 week.
I still think, its a short time to change a person to schizophrenia. That is my view other may differ on this.

I would say its just an attempt to put more drama to the show. The TRPs are not going to be there for any show for some time now as the way TRPs are given is in process of changing. Till the time new criteria for TRP is in force i guess we will be towards the fag end of the show. 😛

Staying optimistic about the show is just like waiting for Lupt Saraswati to appear in Kund. All the posts here are from individual thinking /assumptions/understanding. The makers have never given any clear picture of scenes/situations. The comments are based on the content of the episode aired.😳

@seedibaat one thing we need to understand is that MK is a thriller. If script shouts everything upfront no need to call it a thriller, but then it does whisper certain things.
in every thriller especially movies it is the things that are whispered turn out to be crucial in the end. Movie we don't feel this much frustration because in 2.5 hrs everything is over.
But in a show unfortunately we will have to wait for the script to unfold and then we can connect the things later.
