I did study the Puranas, and I do believe both the versions,

My problem is not that. Mahamaya Mahalakshmi's abduction. And as a devotee of Maa, I have a right to question UN.

I may seem like over-reacting to many people .

Yes I could just ignore and let go of all wrong things as it's just a tv show & simply enjoy all the romantic scenes without a care in the world .

But I'm not sure how many people are aware of the fact that media is such an extremely influential tool. One could both positively and negatively influence the mass through media.

Especially youngsters are easily influenced by media .

So a person has to be socially responsible when presenting a mythological or devotional show .

It's not a novel to put whatever kind of imaginations into writing.

I cannot even start to imagine how a person has the heart to degrade one of the most revered God and Goddess who are one of the supreme protectors of the universes and all the souls !!!

Although I'm an ardent devotee of Lord LakshmiNarayan , I equally respect every other deities .

I cannot even think of putting other Gods / Goddess down just to glorify my aradhya !

I find it sinful !

And Foreign people who are interested in exploring Sanatana Dharma too are watching Indian mythological shows .

Just think what kind of impression shows like this would make !!!

Those who are not much aware of the sacred puranas might get the wrong idea by watching this rubbish .

No one is objecting from questioning him.

He finds if members aggressive. 😆

Only thing is questions should be directed at right channel.

Where he is active and can answer quarries.

I'm a newbie Vivid, and I've only posted once or twice here.

Regarding Utkarsh Naithani and his distorted stories, yes I would love to know the sources from where he develops the stories and presents them onscreen.

I don't have any sort of personal grudge against him because that is how it is. You pick any mythological series and check, it's filled with only distortions.

For a viewer like me, it is next to impossible to watch the old Ramayana and Mahabharata which aired in the 90s probably. The sole reason being that they showed the story exactly as it was written in the sacred texts, and NO OFFENCE, but I find both these old serials big time boring. I don't promote the idea of distorting the stories as whole though, and please don't take me wrong, as I'm a fierce Hinduism believer.

I'm not taking UN's side or something, but in Mahakali and DKDM, he has not completely distorted the story. He has just changed some plots here and there, which I've found interesting to know. Maybe, he's been distorting a lot, but then according to me, it doesn't make him a criminal.

In my opinion, he had distorted each and every single character only in Siya Ke Ram. NO OFFENCE, but he showed every great and respectable character very very weak. Some examples I'd like to give is, Sita tried to commit suicide in her second forest exile, Ram tried to commit suicide when Sita was being 'samaahit' in the Dharti and even Lakshman committed suicide !!!!!! Every other woman in that serial dreamt about losing their husband be it Sulochana or Urmila. He tried to over glorify Mandodari and Sulochana going out of the way. Sita in Lanka track was utter rubbish and every false thing was shown during that track. All in all, he completely distorted everyone's personality in that show. I watched that show only because of the acting of Ram aka Ashish Sharma. Other than that, I always was frustrated with UN for the crap he had written for the show. 😭🤢

Coming to Mahakali, I already expected crap to come from his writing, but compared to SKR, he's done better, way better in Mahakali !! I love the concept very much. He has atleast done justice to Aadishakti's avatars, unlike SKR !! I have almost forgiven him, after watching Mahakali, but the process is still on-going. 😆

Also, there are many myths in a country like India. There are many angles to a single story related to any God/Goddess. There are many folklores which no Google or Wikepedia can provide to you, even if you die searching. There are innumerable kathaas related to each avatar of Aadishakti. Many people only believe what they've read, some only believe what they've heard. It differs according to our perspective.

For example, I was very shocked to hear this version of Mahabharata, from my aunt in a village. She told me that in the village version, KUNTI AND GANDHARI both are sisters !!!!! 😲 I was like...What are you saying...are you out of your mind or something ??? But she replied that this is what they believe. I cannot put a case on her just because she has some different knowledge. I cannot say that the villagers are criminals, can I ? I tried searching for that version in google for like two weeks, but couldn't find it, although I did that almost two years ago. 😆

Thank you for bearing with my long post. I don't mean to offend anyone's view points or opinions. Please understand that all this is clearly my perspective. If any of you don't agree please don't rant about it. 😊

If there is any such folk tale as Lakshmi controlled by black magic and all, of course I don't call those villagers criminal, but the person who wrote the tale. 😕

This is a direct insult to the Goddess, till now there were many, but this is the peaks. I've no problem with distortions and creative liberty. But no insult should be to rendered to the divine personalities. That's it.

And Nivi, it's not over criticism. We spoke as we felt the insult. Wenarre right from our side, and that's what we need. No problem even if it gets closed. 😆

I've always known that Vishnu is the preserver and that's why prosperity and wealth (Lakshmi/Sri) is his shakti. And ShivJi annihilates in his Rudra form and has Kali as his shakti for destruction.
