For the first time she felt helpless and clueless as to what must he be thinking at that moment.Arjun is deeply immersed in his sorrow feeling guilty and enraged for being the cause of his grand father's fall.after a while they reached the place where Santanav Bheeshm lied on the bed of arrows with eyes closed but still indicating he is restless. Panchali stood gazing at the legendary warrior who succumbed to his destiny happily making his body kissed by the arrows of his dearest grandson.Arjun apptoached him and sat on his knees Bheeshm opened his eyes and looked surprised.' Why did you come again? Time for you to take rest.Tomorrow you should counter your Gurudev." Arjun is sarcastic.' Yes Pitamah,I know. After hurting you now I should target the one who made me the great Archer by loving me more than his own son.I did so many bad deeds in my previous birth it seems. That is why I suffer this much." Bheeshm forcefully lifted his hand and touched his head.He tried to pacify his regretful Arjun with his reasoning.' Arjun,Why do you grieve for us? She stood aloof,gazing at both of them and with a detachment that he never saw in her face.He got up and lead her to Pitamah was in shock seeing her there.He scolded Arjun.' Take Bahu back and don't exert yourself my son.You redeemed me first and now your soulmate will show me the path to divinity. My blessings are always with you.Before leaving let Bahu taste the Devine water created by you for my sake." Arjun folded his hands with tears and lead Draupadi to the pool of water. Panchali bent down and tasted the water that looked transparent cool and Devine. She felt that she must be tasting nectar of celestials.She looked back at her Arjun her lotus eyes filled with pride and admiration.

As they started walking back they could see Pitamah getting into sleep. Arjun observed his face peaceful and calm. He understood how his open admission of his fault before Panchali offered him mental peace. He turned to his wife and took her hand in his.' Thank you Krishnaa. You made Pitamah get rid of his burden.He looks relieved now." He admitted whole heartedly.Panchali smiled her enchanting smile.' I am pleased that Pitamah got the much needed respite. What about my husband? Did he get through his pain and regret?" She asked innocently and suddenly lost her balance . Arjun took her instantly and taunted.' Is it fiftieth time or I lost count? " Panchali pouted and said.' You are too much. I never fall when you are not around. And I don't think I fell that many times." Arjun laughed heartfully seeing her defence. Panchali gazed at his beautiful face and wondered.Govind finally your Parth recovered to a great extent.But will he face his Guru now with his full mettle?"What if Guru Dron becomes successful in capturing Yudhishtir?Again Exile,incognito...Arjun observed her thoughts and said categorically.' He won't be able to capture Eldest if I am around." Panchali looked straight into his hazel eyes and said.' Then don't leave him Be with him through out." Arjun smiled.' How is it possible Krishnaa, It is impossible to stay at one place in battlefield. Always we should be on the move. But I promise I will not let Eldest taken as captive. Don't get tensed up. Ofcourse I won't harm my Guru in that process." Panchali looked bewildered and heard Krishna's voice.' Sakhi,how is Santanav Bheeshm? " Panchali nodded her head and indicated he is fine.Krishna smiled and grabbed Parth by his shoulder.' Parth Let us go to Dhrisht.Once if you approve of his Vyuha he will be rest assured. Sakhi go and sleep peacefully.You walked so long." Panchali walked back to her tent where Malini is waiting for her.Princess Shall I get you Aushadhi milk? You look tired." Panchali declined and lied on her couch.Her conscience went back to the Pre Rajasuya days in Indra prasth when Drona and Gurumata visited them...Arjun received GuruDron with great respect and brought him to his rest house specially arranged for his sake.The rest house got a feel of Drona's hermitage on the outskirts of Hastinapur.Panchali helped Arjun in every way and the result is great.Satya teased Arjun.' You brought your Guru's hermitage as it is. Let me ask, Will you give us a feel of your days at Gurukul by hitting the bird Eye,..Krishna smiled while Arjun smirked.' Madhav,tell her not to entertain wild thoughts.It is my Guru there. I won't let any inconvenience happen to him. Krishnaa you also be alert with Satya." Panchali smiled and signalled Satya to keep silent. In the afternoon every one got surprised at the way Arjun attended on his Guru during lunch time.And the food specially made by Panchali with her own hands without spicy materials. Panchali looked at her father who she thought must get offended on seeing Arjun's worship of his Guru.But Drupad took it sportively and told Panchali.' See how loyal Arjun is I am proud of him." Panchali sighed in relief. Subhadra and Satya questioned.' Did you cook specially? Arjun asked you to cook?" Panchali nodded her head.' His Guru won't eat Kshatriya flavoured food.When I visited Gurukul I happened to see Gurumata cook. So I just followed that." Satya patted her and appreciated.' You know you are perfect dear. But I wish Arjun would thank you specially and reward you." Panchali looked around and saw Subhadra move away to feed Abhi. Satya laughed.' She did not listen Don't worry. But I won't leave Arjun. See I will make him bow before you." Arjun who happened to come there knitted his eyebrows and asked.' Who has to bow before her? " Satya made a serious face and said ." You. Who else?"

Every one wondered how could the queen of Indraprasth could cook on her own for Guru Dron and his wife. Gurumata specially praised Panchali.' You served the tastiest food for us. How did you know the dishes and recipees. I still wonder. But I bless you Bahu you will reign in the heart of your husband." Kunti who is listening covered up.' Yes. She reigns supreme in the hearts of my five sons." Gurumata blessed Pragati and praised the cute little wonder.' Exactly the combination of your beauty and Arjun's charm." Draupadi looked at Arjun who is standing beside Dron and Carefully attending on his needs.He even wiped off his hands with a new towel much to the delight of his preceptor.Guru Dron looked at Drupad proudly and stated.' See Maharaj Drupad,Even after achieving so much my desciple remained so down to earth." Drupad replied with attitude.' Ofcourse his nature is such. He treats every one with so much respect." Krishna intervened and goaded guru Dron.' Guru Dron you are not one among others. That we have to agree." Drona clarified Drupad.' You can check Panchal Raj. Arjun will never give my place to anyone else." Drupad kept quiet. Yes. He knew that . He is seeing a different Arjun altogether since Drona's arrival.Drona and himself studied together but the way Drona excelled in teaching it is highly commendable. The whole Aryavarth recognised Drona's greatness.

Panchali reminisced her conversation with her husband that night.Arjun came so late after attending on his Gurudev and supervising the Yajna Sala construction progress. Panchali who is half asleep woke up and let him in. Arjun expressed surprise.' Already into sleep? Among my wives you are the only one to manage being awake at this time. Now you also succumb to sleep." Panchali retorted.' Every one needs sufficient sleep. Only you can survive without it. I can't imagine how you can be so active without sleeping."Arjun smiled and confessed.' But there are many advantages if we can win over sleep." Panchali asked curiously.' How?" Arjun elaborated.' You will have more time to practice. You will have more time to plan war strategies. You can falsify the plans of rivals if you are conscious at night." Panchali raised her eyebrows.' Like you did when Vasuki took,you to Patal." Arjun nodded.' Yes. It is an advantage it helped me win over Vasuki." Arjun watched his daughter move in sleep and woke her up taking her in his arms tightly.Pragati opened her eyes and giggled in pleasure.Panchali is desparate.' Why did you wake her up?" She would have slept again.Arjun she will play continuously now" Arjun lied on the couch and placed Pragati on his heart.He started talking to her sweetly.' My Princess. I am immensely happy today. My Gurudev graced Indraprasth. It is a blessed moment for me.I want to make him proud by achieving so much in my life. This is just the begining," Panchali stared at him.' You are obsessed with your preceptor Arjun. Actually you should be thanked for making him immortal with your achievements." Pragati went into sleep. Arjun carefully placed het in the Jhoola and pulled Draupadi to his side and stretched back along with her. He turned her face to him,looked straight into her lotus eyes.' Krishnaa you mean to say my contribution is more in my progress." Panchali nodded her head apprehensively.Arjun softly pushed back her curls and said.' My dear wife,you don't know Acharya's way of teaching.He appears strict but he is so soft at heart.His one look used to inspire me into achieving so much .He challenged my capabilities in such a way that I ended up being perfect.He gave a wide mouthed vessel to Aswathama and a narrow mouthed vessel to me.That made me use my brain and I did what he expected. I filled the vessel with Varunastr. That way he taught me practical knowledge.When lamp blew off while eating I ate without difficulty. I understood that with practice I could shoot in darkness. He told me the next day that moulding ourselves according to the situation will help us better ourselves. When I mastered shooting in dark he goaded me.' Don't stop with whatever you achieved.Always think that you know nothing. I thought well That day I was practicing at my usual place the mango grove. My right forefinger got wounded the previous day when I was sharpening my arrows. Gurumata observed that tied a bandage and fed me with her own hands. In the morning when all of us are going for practice she asked Gurudev not to send me as I ruptured my hand.But Gurudev refused and said.' No need. He should learn to cope up with injuries. Arjun, Use your brain first. You should complete your daily quota of practice. I was ten years old then.Duryothan and Karn laughed at me when I reached the practice spot.' How would you shoot arrows now? Don't be a fool.Roam here and there and go back to Ashram" They even ridiculed Gurudev.' Use your brain power. Gurudev's instruction.How can any one practice with injured finger?Gurudev's words have no sense." I got angry hearing their words. Gurudev's words always have significance and deep meaning. I didn't argue either with them,took my bow and moved away from them. My right finger is paining. It won't let me shoot perfectly. I pondered over the problem and casually held the bow in another hand. As I suddenly looked at my stance a wild idea crossed my mind. Why can't I shoot with left hand? I swiftly placed the arrow using left hand in place of right hand and tried to shoot. It was odd in the begining, But within two days it became a habit with me to use left hand with equal ease and skill. My wound healed but my obsession with left hand stayed back." Arjun observed Draupadi who is listening with utmost attention placing her head on his heart. Arjun hugged her closer and said.' Remaining to be continued." Panchali pushed him and said.' Tell me what did your Guru say when he saw you excell in using left hand." Arjun smiled his disarming smile.
