someone said karna was a donar hence even though Bheem was enemy and came to collect tax but karna cant let him go with empty hand I believe they fought a battle nd karna then accepted to give tax by accepting indraprstha's supremacy himself thats y mention was him being subdued there not being defeated

In Rangabhoomi, no one identified Karna until he himself told who he was. Had he been a student of Drona & Kripa with other princes of HP, that would've been impossible.
there were two more guys named Karna among Kauravas. So any of them could've been defeated in Drupada war. Because only the name Karna appears there. No Suta putra or Radheya is written. So it could be anyone including Yuyutsu whose another name was Karna. It was impossible for Drupada to defeat Radheya Karna who had been blessed by Parashurama!
